Hello, it's three tunes day. C'mon, let's have a blast with this.

For the record, #ttt (Three Tunes Tuesday) is an ongoing initiative which is organized by @ablaze for all music lovers. Catch the full gist about that HERE.

In the wake of this fairly fresh month, I've been given the privilege to rejoice and celebrate with people who shared their goodness with me. It's such a good feeling to hear people talk about the good things happening in their lives. I hope the rest of this month takes that same route.

Well, let's talk about the songs I will be sharing in this edition of Three Tunes Tuesday. In my previous participation in #ttt, I shared three tunes from Lindsey Stirling, an exceptional Violinist with a fairly inspiring story. For this week's edition, I will allow the random selector on my playlist to do the job.

So, the songs I will be sharing in this post are randomly selected from my playlist. Check them out;

1. MOCKINGBIRD by Eminem.

Mockingbird is inspired by a real-life family experience that Eminem had and the song hits a really good spot if you pay attention to it. I first listened to the song and vibed to the lyrics a couple of times. However, when I got to watch the video, it sent shivers down my spine.

Eminem is such an articulate storyteller and he does that perfectly with his songs. I'm not sure of what he had in mind when singing this. However, I believe that if his daughter who's now an adult genuinely understands the song, she will be proud of having him as a Dad.

2. MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY by Abba.

Because of the sort of childhood I had and my family background, I don't usually talk a lot about my Dad. However, whenever I listen to a song by this Swedish pop music group, ABBA, flashes of my Dad playing the same song flood through my mind. Yeah! I listen to them growing up and I'm now a big fan of all their old songs.

This song is about two decades old and the lamentation about Money and the brutal reality of the poor in this world still stands true. In fact, we've gotten to the point where a poor person is no longer allowed to have an opinion on things regarding life in general. Money is just a piece of paper, but it would be in your favor to have a lot of that piece of paper. Hehe.

3. SOSO by Omah Lay

Lol... Interestingly, this is making it to our #ttt for the week. I genuinely can't remember the last time I played this song. I'm sure I haven't played it since this year. Haha. Well, here we are with SOSO. Omah really cashed out with this song when it was released. The song felt like an anthem in Nigeria. It was on repeat across streets and households. Haha.

I remember visiting my barber at some point when I heard the song again and decided that downloading the song would be the first thing I had to do immediately after my haircut. That's when I finally downloaded and vibed to the song like others. However, the reason I still have this song in my playlist is because of the creativity depicted in the music video. That's awesome.

This edition of Three Tunes Tuesday is done and dusted. C'ya when we see again.

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.
