Hello, it's three tunes day. C'mon, let's have a blast with this.

For the record, #ttt (Three Tunes Tuesday) is an ongoing initiative which is organized by @ablaze for all music lovers. Catch the full gist about that HERE.

This is my first participation in Three Tunes Tuesday since we dived into 2024. I needed to select songs that hit me hard during the holiday season. So, I checked my playlist and it was very easy to see the songs I've had on repeat. Haha. I narrowed them down to 3 songs and here we are.

Check out the tunes;

1. SKYFALL by Adele.

Watch out for this one. Adele is one of those who has songs that steal people's souls. She goes hard with the lyrics, but her voice can't be overlooked. This song drowns me with a flash of emotions. I just sit back to listen to this while I encourage myself to go hard against all the challenges that life throws on my path.

I don't think Adele ever made an official music video for this song. I tried looking, but I didn't see it. I watched one where it was used as a background song in a James Bong movie collection. I enjoyed that so much, but it would be too distracting to share that here. Look it up on YouTube, if you are curious.

2. GANGSTA'S PARADISE by Coolio.

This song is so cold and it hits hard, especially if you've come face to face with people who have chosen to walk the path of malevolence as a result of the sort of environment they grew up in. There is something about me and songs that starts with a banger! The intro to this song hits hard especially when you hear it in the background when notable folks like David Goggins tell you to "Stay Hard, Son!" Haha.

Coolio is a real G and this song is epic. He just sounds like a Preacher man who's yelling at young lads in a boondocks. Haha. To be fair, Gangsta's Paradise is no paradise at all. A life of gangsterism doesn't have a long-term benefit. Big ups to the choir that led the chorus of this song. They did a good job.

3. HARLEYS IN HAWAII by Katy Perry.

For the record, I'm looking forward to the day I will be on a yacht on the seaside of Hawaii. Haha. That's all I was thinking about the first time I heard this song in 2020 when I was in a lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Everything was a mess back then and I'm not sure if this song made things better or worse. Lol. It just made me crave my freedom of movement.

Katy Perry gave her best to make this song a delectable splendor to listen to. The song is legit. However, her marketing team shat the bed with the sort of promotion they gave this song. They messed up the promotion and allowed the song to get buried in a highly competitive music industry. Well, it is what it is.

That's it for this edition of #ttt.

Check the songs out and enjoy. Maybe, you can also tell me the one that resonates more with you.

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.
