Hello, it's three tunes day. C'mon, let's have a blast with this.

For the record, #ttt (Three Tunes Tuesday) is an ongoing initiative which is organised by @ablaze for all music lovers. Catch the full gist about that HERE.

Did you keep tab on HiveFest and everything that happened during the event? I sure have been enjoying it and I enjoyed the presentations I watched. They were all enlightening, insightful and inspiring. It makes you see what each project is building and what they hope they achieve with it.

Of course, HiveFest wasn't all about the serious stuff or some tech talk. Haha. We also got some fun stuff which was going on and the climax of it was in yesterday's Cryptoholic Livestream. Yeah, Livestream! Haha.

Nifty and the Cryptoholic crew had fun during the show and they had a lot of liquor, wine and mojito to spice up the show. Haha. Well, they were missing music. So, in this edition of Three Tunes Tuesday, I will be highlighting three Afri-tunes that can heighten the atmosphere whenever folks are having a laugh, drinking and yapping. Haha.

It just has to be Afri-tunes. We do it better when you need a background tune to keep everywhere lively. Haha. Check them out;

1. JORO by Wizkid.

I'm not even the biggest fan of Afri-tunes, but I know that I love any solo that's released by Wizzy. Wizkid is a big lad in Afri-tunes industry and this highlighted tune is a perfect feel-good song that needs to be buzzing in the background when you are having a good talk and enjoying the moment.

The music video is also clean. It purely displays stuff that are good to the sight. Haha. Nothing nasty though. Just clean display of talent and creativity. Listen to JORO. Vibe to the tune and twist your body as you enjoy this buzz.

2. SOUNDGASM by Rema.

I talked about the creativity used in making the previous music video. Well, Rema is another superstar who's music videos are filled with creativity. The music video of this song is a very simple shot with just two on-screen characters. However, the symbolism of the scenes makes it sophisticated.

The song itself has all the potential to be a nasty song. The type that can't be played on radio because of censorship. Haha. However, the lad creatively found a way to deliver the message without spelling it out. Don't miss the part where he was whispering some lines. Haha. That's the highlight of the song.

3. SOSO by Omah Lay.

Since I've been saying something about the creativity explored in each of the music videos, here is the music video that has the highest level of creativity. Omah Lay did art lovers proud in this music video and anyone that sees beyond his/her nose will surely appreciate the level of creativity poured into this music video.

The song itself has a very strong meaning. Listen to it and ask yourself: Who are you depending on to take your pain away? Haha. The icing on this already iconic song is the chorus. Daymmm... That chorus hits hard. I just love it.

That's it, folks. That's Afri-tunes to the world. Listen to the songs. Enjoy the music videos and dig deeper to get what each of the song symbolizes.

C'ya next week.

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop Or Comma.

Hmmm, I have heard just two of them. I played the soundgasm to see if it's familiar, I was glad to see that I was the only one who heard and watched it. Hahaha. I wonder what these artistes think these days before releasing songs. Well, nice TTT, I enjoyed Soso, I love the song anytime, any day

Haha... Nigerian artists and their songs are beyond comprehension. Some of them just drop whatever they want without any attempt to tone down whatever they want to say. Haha.

I guess that's what's selling. This has to be why they are consistently taking that route.
