3 "turn off your brain" tunes for the week.
Hello, it's three tunes day. C'mon, let's have a blast with this.
For the record, #ttt (Three Tunes Tuesday) is an ongoing initiative which is organized by @ablaze for all music lovers. Catch the full gist about that HERE.
It's been a minute since my last entry to Three Tunes Tuesday. I tried making an entry a week ago, but life was really pushing me around. However, I didn't want any of that to affect me this week. I knew I needed to get back to my rhythm.
For this edition of Three Tunes Tuesday, I will be picking random "turn off your brain" songs to share with y'all. These are songs that are just for a chill vibe. You can have them playing on your PC while you grind. Hehe. I enjoy knowing that they are buzzing even if I'm absent-minded and unaware of the stuff really happening around me.
Lemme share some of those songs with you;
- Hehehe by Rema.
This may well be the first Nigerian song I'm sharing on three tunes Tuesday this year and I don't even care what the song is about. It's a song I heard when I was in a Twitter space last week. I immediately vibed to the song right there and I wanted to use it in my TTT post for the week. However, I ended up carrying over the write-up to this week.
Rema does these things with his songs where he basically rolls out words in a way that makes you wanna vibe to the song. He did that in Dumebi and a bunch of other hit songs he has. The music video is two weeks old and it's already raking up the stats. The lad is surely doing something right.
- PLAY WITH FIRE by Sam Tinnesz.
This song isn't new to me. It's a song I always vibe to, especially when I want to stay on business regardless of the issues or crises I may be dealing with. The song just hits the spot and helps me to disconnect from my consciousness. Haha.
Sam Tinnesz still hasn't made an official music video for this song after 7 years of its release. At this point, it's already obvious that we won't be seeing any official music videos for the song. Nonetheless, I've seen a lot of psychologically thrilling clips from TV show compilations where this song was used as background music. It hits really hard.
- Evil Twin by Lindsey Stirling.
Nahhh... I'm just fitting this in here for sentimental reasons. You know, I just found out about Lindsey Stirling during this years Easter season. That should be 3-4 months ago and it's been a while since I shared anything from her. Well, we are all in luck today.
This Evil Twin song has a duality theme and it's interesting to see her portray that dual identity in one song. Her choice of costume made it easy to differentiate the angelic version of herself from the other, as portrayed in the music video.
That's where we will be wrapping up this week's edition of the Three Tunes Tuesday.
C'ya when I c'ya.
Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.
Y'all... Remember to ignore any message from my previous Twitter a/c. The a/c is hacked.

Hehehe, I’ve heard people say Rema is being influenced by shallipoppi.😂😂
But what matters is that his songs are flying.
No be small thing oooo. Rema's songs look like a freestyle music, with no pre-drafted lyrics. Haha
But I enjoy them .😅
I am definitely going to check out this definitely
Awesome. Have fun with those.
