3 Rap songs... 3 Artists; Three Tunes Tuesday.
Hello, it's three tunes day. C'mon, let's have a blast with this.
For the record, #ttt (Three Tunes Tuesday) is an ongoing initiative which is organized by @ablaze for all music lovers. Catch the full gist about that HERE.
Today is not just a typical Tuesday. It's Three Tunes Tuesday. It also happens to be 27th May which is a day carved out for the celebration of children. Yeah! It's Children's Day.
Happy Children's Day to the kiddos all-over the world.
The songs in this post isn't about kids or Children's Day though. For this week's edition of Three Tunes Tuesday, I decided to highlight 3 rap songs from 3 different rappers who have impressed me in recent years.
Enjoy the songs;
1. RAP GOD by Eminem.
Eminem has proven to be a really talented musician and his rapping game is too notch. The man is a living legend. So, it's not a surprise that his song got on the list in this rap-themed three Tunes selection. Plus, I really rate him highly.
This song is a whole 6 minutes of awesomeness, speed, and lines that hit the spot. Eminem stepped into the rapping realm with this one and the music video which is already 11 years old is done with so much simplicity. This is fabulous.
2. BAND4BAND by Central Cee ft Lil Baby.
Central Cee is one of those rappers that recently got into my playlist. Just a week ago, I shared one of his songs in TTT. His british accent is one of the things I enjoy about his rap songs. I just have a Shakespearean thing for British accents 😂.
This BAND4BAND song is in collaboration with Lil Baby, an American rapper who's also very reputable in the industry. So, the song is basically a UK-US collab. Haha. To be fair though, Lil Baby's slow and low energy lines felt off. It was no match for the high intense impact of Central Cee.
3. DEAR GOD by Dax.
This song is not just a song to me. It's a song that hits the spot especially in this stage of my life where I'm asking questions about everything. This songs speaks to me in a very special way. I just find myself thinking deeply about so much whenever I listen to this.
Dax always make that type of impact with his songs. Go check out some of his other songs like Joker, Dear Alcohol, To Be A Man, etc. The music video concept is also very cool. Dax played as Jesus carrying the cross and on a walk while rapping. Cool stuff.
That's it on this week's edition of Three Tunes Tuesday. I hope someone became a fan of rap songs after listening to these songs. Hehe.
Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.

Good afternoon bro. Honestly, I really like the three tunes of the day, Seeing Eminen, Central Cee, and Dax, seems to me you have selected the best of all😊
Eminem songs used to burst me up too, I love him so much.
Bro... Eminem is really goated in the music industry.
His raps are on point and his storytelling in songs like Lose Yourself, Mockingbird, and Stan are quite brilliant.
Well done Bro Kene👍
Hmm, these rap songs nearly made me bite my tongue especially the on by Eminem. How does he rap so good?
