Take me to the music church
'What is the key element to success or the best ingredient how you want to decorate your house, or what makes people memorize your party?
The 4 L's ofcourse
'The 4 L's?'
Location, location, location, location
This time in the most unexpected awesome fiesta. A party in an old renovated church called 'Domus Dela' which used to be an old monestary in the middle of the centre of Eindhoven, where monks even still lived to about 10 years ago.
With the decreasing of the monks the question was risen if there was still a point to keep the monestary open. Ofcourse an investor stepped in and bought the whole monestary and renovated it into a hotel with a resturant and congres area.
A pity? Maybe yeah..but on the other hand...way more people get to enjoy the location and the church itself is still kept in its original state as you can see some of the elements here
Well having a party there with more than a couple thousand people was really something honestly! With a nice outdoor space having food and some drinks over there, and another area with a silent disco, some karaoke and also some games there was something to do for every group and every age. Love the concept!
Music
Yes, this was a party hosted by work and I must admit...these kinds of things are actually the best sort of team building there is. I love the aspect that an employer makes the effort to organize something like this.
With food passing by, fireworks passing by, these weird sort of octopusses passing by and also with some local musicians (which some had better reaction to the croud than some others...lets say the Dutch singing local hero did not really please the attention span of the croud) there was just a general good vibe, and it was highly appreciated by all.
The coverband which did a bit of music for everybody called 'Session' did what they should. They took the crowd on a good vibe, and everyone of all ages was dancing..which is unusual for Dutchies who are known for chitchatting during music which is actually really annoying. But it wasn't the case at all this time.
And just when you think when you ended up in a party scene...then all of a sudden you see the old elements of the church again.
The church was a place of tranquility back into the days. Now it is a place where everyone can enjoy.
Not bad for a random weekend at all! Take me back to church!
Looks incredible! Well done your work!
Yeah exactly! There are 50 years old this year so it was time for some celebrations. And they did good!
Oh that's a nice location to have a party indeed. And now I wonder, which Dutch singer this was who didn't really hype up the crowd :) please do tell! :)
Je kan hem bovenaan in z'n witte bloeske zien zelfs. 'Laat de zon in je hart....geniet van het leven....want het duurt nog maar even'
Know enough? :D
The 4 L's ... I would add the 4 V's as well : Vibe, Vibe, Vibe, Vibe LOL
The L's are doing well here indeed! Checked the master website as well and must admit this is a true asset to 'party'-land. You mentioned this one was for everybody. I suppose also kids?
Love the octopus. Just came back from Fusion Festival where I first saw these kinda decorations done by the party peeps themselves. Must have been like 15 years ago or so when I first went there. Since then we see them at Thuishaven as well, and here and there at other locations. So Cool!
Well this one was only from people from my work actually so no kids around this time. But cool venue right? Big place though if you want to fill it. A friend of mine was checking if she could do her wedding party here, but that is a bit too big for a wedding even (or you would have a looooot of friends and family haha)
Yeah the homemade decorations is a good thing I find. I do love the fact that visuals (also like screens and so) are so much more part of the package at the moment. It all enhances the experience.
So how was Fusion? Tell me moooore
