You see, 7 years ago I had the opportunity to present a song in an annual event that they did in the place where I grew up, it was not a competition but I knew that being my first presentation in front of hundreds of people I had to do it perfectly. I psyched myself up as much as I could and worked hard in practice so that everything would go well. Finally the big day arrived and there were only minutes left for my moment, I was at the side of the stage where the Dj was located, to whom I had to give him a pendrive that I had at that time, which contained the original music and the instrumental of the song. Everything was going well until when I started to sing I noticed that under my voice another voice was heard, it didn't take me long to realize that the Dj had made a mistake and placed the original song instead of the track. I felt very helpless but I had already started and it would be very unprofessional of me to stop singing so I kept singing until the end of the show. I felt disappointed since it was the first time I was making myself known and it did not turn out as I wanted but even worse were the events that unleashed that night, because since then there has not been a single performance where I have sung in which I did not make a mistake or similar inconveniences (I have performed more than 10 times), including forgetting lyrics, failures in the sound equipment, exaggerated nerves, etc.. After so many years I thought it was an excellent idea to sing once again this song for you but this time correctly and without any inconveniences. I hope you enjoyed it and if you wish you can comment what you thought or any advice to improve my projection. > *Hola hola compañeros de @HiveOpenMic, espero que esten pasando un buen Martes:) Me llena mucho de alegria participar nuevamente en el concurso de esta semana donde estuve interpretando una cancion que originalmente se basa en el desamor y la tristeza pero que para mi tiene un mayor significado. Veran, hace 7 años tuve la oportunidad de presentar una cancion en un evento anual que hacian en el lugar donde me crie, no era una competencia pero sabia que al ser mi primera presentacion frente a cientos de personas debia hacerlo perfectamente. Me mentalice lo mas que pude y me esforce mucho en las practicas para que todo saliera bien. Por fin llego el gran dia y faltaban solo minutos para mi momento, yo me encontraba a un costado de la tarima donde estaba situado el Dj, a quien debia entregarle un pendrive que tenia en ese entonces, el cual contenia la musica original y el instrumental de la cancion. Todo iba bien hasta que cuando comence a cantar note que debajo de mi voz se escuchaba otra voz, no tarde mucho en darme cuenta que el Dj se habia equivocado y colocado la cancion original en vez de la pista. Me dio mucha impotencia pero ya habia iniciado y seria muy antiprofesional de mi parte parar de cantar por lo que segui cantando hasta que finalizo todo. Me senti decepcionada ya que era la primera vez que me daba a conocer y no resulto como queria pero peor aun fueron los eventos que desataron esa noche, pues desde entonces no ha existido una sola presentacion donde yo haya cantado en la que no me equivoque o resulten inconvenientes similares (me he presentado mas de 10 veces), que incluyen olvido de letra, fallas en el equipo de sonido, nervios exagerados, etc. Despues de tantos años me parecio una excelente idea cantar una vez mas esta cancion para ustedes pero esta vez correctamente y sin inconvenientes. Espero que la hayan disfrutado y si desean puedes comentar que les parecio o algun consejo para mejorar mi proyeccion.
