Hello @edwardstobia. The song is lovely. I can relate from listening to numerous stories from my ancestors in a foreign land. I too feel that we are running someone else's race. Someone else's path on how to live one's life just to get by. A thoughtful song with heartfelt meanings. Nicely done.
I appreciate the update on your mother's journey. It's a slow process that forces us to be patient when the only thing we desire is to jerk her up and propel her to the end where light is waiting.
