Black Sabbath simply has so many great guitar riffs, I could do a series of Three Tune Tuesday posts just with songs by them. In this edition of "TTT", friends, I bring you three of my favorite riffs from this legendary band, starting with "Hole In The Sky", a great song by the pioneers of metal that begins with a couple of very catchy riffs, in the best style of the teacher Tony Iommi. Despite not being as well known as their other songs, it is worth mentioning that the famous group Pantera performed an incredible cover of this song. Next, "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath", another epic riff from these music legends, starting the song that gives its name to one of their most controversial and emblematic albums. This riff is loaded with that energy peculiar to the band, catchy and at the same time heavy, aggressive and at the same time melodic, characteristics that would define the sound of heavy metal in its beginnings and would mark a great influence for an innumerable number of bands. To close this trio of metal tunes, "Symptom Of The Universe" plays, one of the most raw, powerful and heavy riffs of the group, it is a clear example of how the heaviest subgenres of metal such as thrash or death metal also have his early influences on Black Sabbath riffs

Black Sabbath sencillamente tiene tantos riffs de guitarra estupendos, que podría hacer una serie de publicaciones de Three Tune Tuesday sólo con canciones de éllos. En esta edición del "TTT" amigos les traigo tres de mis riffs favoritos de esta legendaria banda, comenzando con "Hole In The Sky" un gran tema de los pioneros del metal que comienza con un par de riffs muy pegajosos, al mejor estilo del maestro Tony Iommi. A pesar de no ser tan conocida como otras de sus canciones, cabe mencionar que la famosa agrupación Pantera realizó un increíble cover de este tema. A continuación "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" otro épico riff de estas leyendas de la música, dando inicio a la canción que le da nombre a uno de sus álbums más controversiales y emblemáticos. Este riff está cargado con esa energía peculiar de la banda, pejagoso y a la vez pesado, agresivo y a la vez melódico, características que definirían el sonido del heavy metal en sus inicios y marcarían una gran influencia para una innumerable cantidad de bandas. Para cerrar este trío de tonadas metaleras, suena "Symptom Of The Universe" uno de los riffs más crudos, potentes y pesados de la agrupación, es un claro ejemplo de cómo los subgéneros más pesados del metal cómo el thrash o el death metal también tienen sus influencias tempranas en los riff de Black Sabbath
