Hive Music - "Andreina" Vals nro 2 de Antonio Lauro

A través de los años también he tenido la dicha de conocer amigos y músicos maravillosos con los que he podido compartir y de los que he aprendido también. De hecho hay una curiosa historia detrás de cómo aprendí esta pieza, y es que hace algún tiempo le mostré a mi buen amigo y gran músico @franciscodesousa (a quién le enseñé algunos acordes y cosas básicas de la guitarra cuando él estaba comenzando) un vídeo de una jovencita italiana llamada "Federica Golissano" (¡excelente guitarrista se las recomiendo!) interpretando el vals nro 3 de Antonio Lauro "Natalia", a lo que mi amigo me dice: "no puede ser que esa chica nos supere, yo tengo que aprender a tocar eso" y así fué como aproximadamente después de 3 meses de dura práctica mi amigo logró aprenderse "Natalia" una pieza de guitarra bastante exigente, yo al ver esto no quise quedarme atrás y le pedí a Francisco que me la enseñara ¡así fué como el alumno pasó a ser maestro! de la misma forma luego él aprendería "Andreina" y hace poco le pedí que me la enseñara también.

Through the years I have also had the joy of meeting wonderful friends and musicians with whom I have been able to share and from whom I have also learned. In fact, there is a curious story behind how I learned this piece, and that is that some time ago I showed my good friend and great musician @franciscodesousa (who I taught some chords and basic guitar things to when he was starting out) a video of a young Italian girl named "Federica Golissano" (excellent guitarist I recommend it!) interpreting Antonio Lauro's waltz no.3 and he said "it cannot be that this girl is better than us, i have to learn to play that!" and that's how after approximately 3 months of hard practice my friend managed to learn "Natalia" a quite demanding guitar piece, when I saw this I didn't want to stay behind and I asked Francisco to teach it to me! and that is how the student became a teacher! in the same way he would later learn "Andreina" and recently I asked him to teach it to me too.

Como muchos de ustedes ya saben tocar guitarra clásica no es mi estilo habitual, ni tampoco he estudiado en una escuela para interpretar este nivel de música, sin embargo me parece excelente como una forma de ampliar mi horizonte musical y de entrenarme y mejorar como guitarrista en general. Apenas recién he memorizado los movimientos de esta pieza así que les ruego me disculpen por las imperfecciones en la ejecución, la meta es seguir mejorando cada vez más. Para esta grabación estuve de visita en casa de mi amigo y usé su guitarra "Natalia" (llamada así en honor del Vals de Antonio Lauro) una hermosa Yamaha c-70, ideal para este tipo de música, y como pueden ver también tomé prestado su escenario jeje ¡espero que les guste el vídeo! ¡bendiciones para todos, nos vemos pronto con más música!

As many of you already know, playing classical guitar is not my usual style, nor have I studied in a school to interpret this level of music, however I find it excellent as a way to broaden my musical horizon and to train and improve as a guitarist in general. I've only just memorized the movements for this piece so please excuse any imperfections in execution, the goal is to keep getting better and better. For this recording I was visiting my friend's house and I used his guitar "Natalia" (named after Antonio Lauro's Waltz) a beautiful Yamaha c-70, ideal for this type of music, and as you can see I also borrowed his stage hehe I hope you like the video!
