We continue this cycle of the Hive Music Festival with this round 2 that invites us once again to participate expressing our art, in a constant pursuit of excellence that as musicians and artists we must never abandon, and it is these wonderful spaces like the HMF that They offer us the perfect incentive and motivation to maintain discipline and polish our skills more and more, although of course not everything is about being a perfectionist, personally I think that music is a lot about enjoying the moment and in a way connecting with our spiritual essence. I certainly have a firm belief that art, especially music, connects us with the sublime, with the intangible, with God..
¡Saludos amigos! continuamos este ciclo del Hive Music Festival con este round 2 que nos invita una vez más a participar expresando nuestro arte, en una persecución constante de la excelencia que cómo músicos y artistas no debemos nunca abandonar, y son estos maravillosos espacios como el HMF los que nos ofrecen el incentivo y la motivación perfecta para mantener la disciplina y pulir cada vez más nuestras habilidades,aunque por supuesto no todo se trata de ser perfeccionista, personalmente pienso que la música se trata mucho acerca de disfrutar el momento y en cierta forma conectar con nuestra esencia espiritual. Ciertamente tengo la firme creencia de que el arte, especialmente la música, nos conecta con lo sublime, con lo intangible, con Dios.
For this second round I bring you a cover by none other than the great legend of Blues and Classic Rock Eric Clapton, an artist with one of the most successful careers in this genre. "Wonderful Tonight" is a beautiful blues ballad that Clapton dedicated to his wife, and is permeated with a romantic and sensual feeling, it is undoubtedly a great love song. I think that the main melody of this song is one of the most memorable created by this great guitarist, giving that unforgettable touch to the piece, and showing the genius of its composer. As a musician I greatly appreciate the technical elements of music such as skill, dexterity and knowledge of resources such as chords, scales, harmonies, etc., however I think the ultimate goal of all these tools is to create art, transmit feelings and emotions, and definitely For me, this song, despite its relative simplicity, transmits a lot of feeling, which makes it a great work of art. Para este segundo round les traigo un cover de nada más y nada menos que la gran leyenda del Blues y el Rock clásico Eric Clapton, un artista con una de las carreras más exitosas en este género. "Wonderful Tonight" es una hermosa balada blues que Clapton Dedicó a su esposa, y está impregnada de un sentimiento romántico y sensual, sin duda es una gran canción de amor. Creo que la melodía principal de esta canción es una de las más memorables creadas por este gran guitarrista, dando ese toque inolvidable a la pieza, y dejando constancia de la genialidad de su compositor. Como músico aprecio mucho los elementos técnicos de la música como la habilidad, la destreza y el conocimiento de recursos como acordes, escalas, armonías etc, sin embargo pienso el fin último de todas estas herramientas es crear arte, transmitir sentimientos y emociones, y definitivamente para mí esta canción a pesar de su relativa sencillez transmite mucho sentimiento, lo que la convierte en una gran obra de arte ¡espero disfruten mi versión!
