Hello dear friends of the Hive Open Mic community! Already in our Week #171, with the topic "Divorce/Separation".
It is not a very easy topic to talk about, since no one wants to go through these moments that can be very difficult, and even more if it is unexpected. The subject that I will deal with my song is separation with the song of the Panamanian composer Carlos Eleta Almarán (1918-2013), "Historia de un amor".
It is a song that I have known for many years and since I got to know it and also discovered the circumstances in which it was written, it impacted me much more, and I could say, I fell in love with it. I will tell you a little of the story; Eleta Almarán, composes the song after the death of his brother's wife, so this song is not about abandonment, the separation is due to death by disease, so the pain is so different, so strong, because there is no solution, also, if we listen carefully to the lyrics, we understand that the wife was very dear.
The only way I want to separate from my wife, when my body, or hers, can't anymore and surrender to death, of course, I hope this will happen when we are old 😊.
It is important to say that this song became so famous, that many are the interpreters that throughout history have recorded it, among them: Pedro Infante, Los Panchos, Luis Miguel, Diego Boneta, Mario Frangoulis, from this last one I take the version and the accompaniment that I use in my interpretation.

¡Hola queridos amigos y amigas de la comunidad Hive Open Mic! Ya en nuestra Semana #171, con el tema “Divorcio/Separación”.
No es un tema muy fácil de hablar, ya que nadie quiere pasar por estos momentos que pueden ser muy difíciles, y más si es inesperado. El tema que trataré con mi canción es separación con la canción del compositor panameño Carlos Eleta Almarán (1918-2013), “Historia de un amor”.
Es una canción que conozco hace muchos años y desde que la conocí y además descubrí las circunstancias en que fue escrita, me impacto mucho más, y podría decir que, me enamoré de ella. Les contaré un poco la historia; Eleta Almarán, compone la canción después de la muerte de la esposa de su hermano, por lo que este tema, no trata de abandono, la separación se debe a la muerte por enfermedad, por lo que el dolor es tan distinto, tan fuerte, porque no ya no hay solución, además, si escuchamos con atención la letra, entendemos que la esposa era muy querida.
La única manera en que me quiero separar de mi esposa, cuando mi cuerpo, o el suyo, ya no puedan más y se entreguen a la muerte, claro que, espero que esto suceda cuando estemos viejitos 😊
Es importante decir que esta canción se hizo tan famosa, que muchos son los interpretes que a lo largo de la historia la han grabado, entre ellos: Pedro Infante, Los Panchos, Luis Miguel, Diego Boneta, Mario Frangoulis, de este último tomo la versión y el acompañamiento que utilizo en mi interpretación.
