Hive Open Mic 192/LA GRATITUD/EL CALLEJERO/COVER BY @jpulido0306

ENGLISH
Receive a helpful greeting from this humble character who, like you, is always constant on this platform of
#hiveblog. Greetings to my friends from the #openmic community whom I had forgotten. I hope you accept me and welcome me with good surprises. May friends make me the pertinent recommendations to continue since for a long time when I published I did not receive almost any recognition in my publications with their exceptions. I am grateful and I am very happy because my friend @steempty is the one who has helped me for a long time. What would happen if this friend abandons me. I want you to know that I have always been on the platform but only publishing poems, stories, among other things. You can visit me and find out. I have stopped publishing songs a bit because at this point after being permanently on the platform I feel alone. And I'm not ashamed to say it. One or another #openmic friend encourages me. If you understand my words, things may change. I am going through a situation and I don't ask anyone but to get what is within reach of what I produce because all my content is original except for the karaokes.
Excuse the vent, my friends, but it had to be said and it was said. Good luck to everyone and may we continue working for the peace of humanity as the #openmic motto says. So my song to perform is titled EL CALLEJERO DE ALBERTO CORTEZ in this week 192 dedicated to GRATITUDE.
THE STREET
He was streetwise in his own right,
His philosophy of freedom
It was winning yours without tying others
And never pass over the others.
Although he belonged to everyone, he never had an owner
That he conditioned his reason for being,
Free as the wind was our dog,
Ours and the street where he was born.
He was a stray with the sun on his back,
Faithful to his destiny and his opinion,
Without having a time to take a nap
Nor give him an account at dawn.
He was our dog, and he was cuteness
That we need more every day,
It was a metaphor for adventure
Which cannot be found in the dictionary.
He was our dog because what we love
We consider it our property,
He was from the children and from old Pablo,
Whom he rescued from his loneliness.
He was the stray and he was the character
From the open door in any home,
He was in our neighborhood like the landscape,
The night watchman, the priest and everyone else.
He was the stray of beautiful things
And he went with them when he left,
He drank all the stars at once,
He fell asleep and never woke up.
He left us the space as a testament,
Full of nostalgia, full of emotion,
The memory of him wanders because of his feelings
To pour them into this song.
