A Song That Refreshes My Heart

Greetings music lovers. I'm @joyben, and I'm glad to be a part of this great family. It's my first time posting in this community, and I hope I'm welcome.

I'm a lover of music, and I've been singing for a while now. I don't only sing, but I also take time to listen to the wording of the song as well.

I hope you're aware that some songs can heal a broken heart. It could console one who has been weeping all through his lifetime. It could also strengthen one's faith in Christ.

Some songs are soul refreshing, and they also remind us of who we are, and how powerful we could be even when we underestimate ourselves.

So this morning, I heard a song title "Oh My Soul".So I was wondering why the author titled it so. I didn't get it, until I started listening to the wardings.

I must say that it was heart-touching and soul-refreshing.

One of the most important parts of the song that touches my heart is the part that says: there's a place where fear has to face the God you know.

Ah! What a great message. This part reminds me of who I am. Sometimes, as a human, I feel afraid, not even knowing why it happens like that.

I think God wanted me to get rid of fear, that's why he directed it to my hearings. Indeed, there's a place or stage in our lives, where our fears, trials, temptations, and sorrows have to face the God we know.

We can't handle this. This song melted my heart. It strengthens me in my weakness and helps me know that even in my affliction, God cares.

He always shows up for me whenever fear wants to overpower me. When I'm lost in darkness, he always shines forth his light for me, to find my way out.
