Resumen Especial de Navidad - Villancicos (Esp-Eng)

Hola Chicos ¿Qué tal? Deseo que estén pasando una Feliz Navidad.

Desde niño he estado involucrado indirecta y directamente con la música y aunque no soy un profesional en lo que hago, me gusta mucho hacerlo y dar lo mejor de mí, siempre que se pueda.

Hoy les comparto mi participación en un especial navideño que cada año hacen en la iglesia, desde niño he Sido parte de estos eventos, incluso como espectador, pero desde que soy joven participo cantando, bien sea en el coro o cantando alguna canción sobre la época y esto es algo que hago con mucho gusto.

Hi Guys How are you? I hope you are having a Merry Christmas.

Since I was a child I have been involved indirectly and directly with music and although I am not a professional in what I do, I really like to do it and give the best of me, whenever I can.

Today I share with you my participation in a Christmas special that they do every year in the church, since I was a child I have been part of these events, even as a spectator, but since I am young I participate singing, either in the choir or singing a song about the season and this is something I do with great pleasure.

En este video les muestro dos temas musicales que canté esa noche, ambas himnos navideños o villancicos. El primer tema se titula: "Oh Santísimo, oh Felicisimo" y esta es la primera vez que la canto, me la sabia en otra versión, así que me tocó practicar y aprenderla en una distinta.

El segundo tema musical fue una canción que ya he cantado antes, es de Marcos Witt, llamada: "Mesías Salvador", me parece una canción bonita y con una gran letra. Esta no me costó mucho enseñarla y cabe destacar que por las ocupaciones para la fecha solo ensayamos una vez, y fue la noche antes del evento.

In this video I show you two songs that I sang that night, both Christmas hymns or Christmas carols. The first song is called: "Oh Santísimo, oh Felicisimo" and this is the first time I sang it, I knew it in another version, so I had to practice and learn it in a different one.

The second musical theme was a song that I have sung before, it is by Marcos Witt, called: "Messiah Saviour", I think it is a beautiful song with great lyrics. This one didn't cost me much to teach and it is worth mentioning that due to the busyness of the date we only rehearsed once, and that was the night before the event.

En el vídeo salgo en la iglesia, con algunos de los chicos que forman parte de la FPD Music, el grupo musical que toca allí y del cuál formó parte. Por el tipo de programa y para esta ocasión nos vestimos de traje, algo que no me gusta mucho, ya que soy más de solo usar camisas de vestir por la comodidad.

Cabe destacar que de 8 personas que participamos este año, ya que en años anteriores hemos sidos muchos más, cuatro somos venezolanos, músicos y cantantes y es para nosotros un gusto poder apoyar y servir en la iglesia con nuestros talentos, ya que ellos siempre nos han tratado bien y recibido con mucho amor.

In the video I'm in the church, with some of the guys who are part of FPD Music, the band that plays there and which I was part of. Because of the type of programme and for this occasion we dressed in suits, something I don't like very much, as I'm more of a dress shirt kind of guy for comfort.

It is worth mentioning that out of 8 people who participated this year, as in previous years there have been many more, four of us are Venezuelan, musicians and singers and it is a pleasure for us to support and serve the church with our talents, as they have always treated us well and received us with much love.

Allí les muestro algunas fotografías de hace 4 años, en el especial de navidad, en esa ocasión mi esposa también estuvo participando en los coros y mi hija mayor en un solo, el cual hizo muy bien, tiene oído musical y sabe llevar el tiempo, algo que es un talento nato en ella.

Espero les gustes. Las personas que me ayudaron a grabar el vídeo, fueron mi esposa e hija mayor y en el fondo algunas veces se escucha mi otra hija llorar un poco, ya que fue un evento para toda la familia, donde podemos reunirnos y disfrutar un rato ameno.

There I show you some pictures of 4 years ago, in the Christmas special, on that occasion my wife was also participating in the choirs and my eldest daughter in a solo, which she did very well, she has a musical ear and knows how to keep time, something that is a natural talent in her.

I hope you like it. The people who helped me to record the video, were my wife and eldest daughter and in the background sometimes you can hear my other daughter crying a little, as it was an event for the whole family, where we can get together and enjoy a nice time.
