How does voting work? I am so unfamiliar with this

You are free to vote as much as you want until your Voting Power (some call it "Voting Mana") runs out. It recharges at a rate of 20% per day. So, if it drops to 80%, it will be fully-recharged in 24-hours, at 60% it will recharge in 48-hours, etc. Some front-ends (such as PEAKD) show your Voting Power and some do not, but you can always check it in Keychain ~or~ on one of our 'block explorers' anytime:

Also note that with each successive vote, your Vote Value is slightly less, so your votes are worth more when Voting Power is closer to 100%, and your Curation Rewards will be higher.
