Hive Music Festival Week 134 Round 2 || Sweet hour of prayer (Hymn cover)
Music has been a life changing experience for me, and when i found a platform like this, i get more encouragement to do more. It has been a nice time to be part of this great project. This will be the second time of posting in this community. Kudos to @musiczone who guided me through my post lastweek. Its nice to have a nice mentor in a platform like, and i am not taking it for granted.
I am here again in this week 34, round 2. This week i have come with a hymnal song, a popular hymn titled “ Sweet hour of prayer” . This is. Song that i was taught when i was in the children church, we often sing this song every sunday before sermon and we derive more inspiration from this song.
“Sweet hour of prayer” is an inspirational christian song which talks about the time we set apart to comune with God. Praying is the act of speaking to God, pouring out our heart unto God because we believe that He (God) is a faithful one that will answer whem we call.
Christian faith give us clear understanding that there are unseen forces of darkness that are fighting us on our journey of faith, and the best was to conquer in such battle is to give ourselves to prayer. The more we pray, the more we get closer to God. Prayer must be intentional and must be a continous activities.
Prayerlessness is like exposing our life to danger of spiritual attacks of the devil that why the bible says that men ought to pray always. Another benefit of prayer is the power to surpress the activities of the flesh. The more we pray, the more the flesh will be under control.
There is no way we will talk about this song without giving credit to the Writter of the somg in person of **WILLIAM B BRADBURY **
