LA BATERÍA Un universo sonoro.
La música es una de las cosas que más disfrutamos. Todo el tiempo estamos escuchandola, bien sea en las canciones o en la misma naturaleza. Desde el sonido del mar y el viento, hasta el hermoso canto de las aves. Y algo muy interesante es la gran diversidad que existe en cada uno de los sonidos que puede emitir un instrumento musical.

Personalmente me apasiona la percusión, en especial la batería, ya que cada tambor y cada platillo tienen un sonido muy diferente. Al juntarse cada sonido, uno con el otro, crean una armonía explosiva y fascinante. Me gusta bastante la batería en el jazz. Tiene un sonido bastante crudo y a la vez agradable al oído. Mientras en otros géneros musicales se tienden a evitar los armónicos en los tambores, en el jazz son el mejor ingrediente en cada tambor, obviamente con una afinación adecuada. Claro está, cada músico tiene sus gustos y preferencias en cuanto al sonido del instrumento y la afinación del mismo.

En cuanto al rock, sin duda que hay una gran diversidad en cuanto al sonido de la batería, y eso es algo que siempre me ha encantado. La medida de las baquetas o palillos, afectan de manera considerable el sonido de los tambores. Y siempre me llamaron la atención las escobillas, que aunque se ven con más regularidad en el jazz, también se pueden apreciar en el rock. Tienen un sonido muy dulce y sutil, matizando el sonido de la batería , pero a la vez brindando un protagonismo con su particular efecto sonoro. Personalmente me agrada muchísimo aprender e implementar cosas nuevas. Y en el caso de las escobillas o "Rutes", para mí ha sido algo muy enriquecedor. Sin duda, es algo que me gusta mucho de la música, poder seguir aprendiendo y mejorar en el ejercicio.

La música siempre nos permitirá conocer nuevos sonidos y nuevas formas de crearlos. Solo hay que tener el deseo de aprender y disfrutar el proceso. Hay un sin fin de maneras de crear y disfrutar la música, un universo sonoro.

Music is one of the things we enjoy the most. We are listening to it all the time, either in the songs or in nature itself. From the sound of the sea and the wind, to the beautiful song of the birds. And something very interesting is the great diversity that exists in each of the sounds that a musical instrument can emit.

Personally I am passionate about percussion, especially drums, since each drum and each cymbal has a very different sound. By joining each sound, one with the other, they create an explosive and fascinating harmony. I quite like the drums in jazz. It has a quite raw sound and at the same time pleasant to the ear. While in other musical genres harmonics on the drums tend to be avoided, in jazz they are the best ingredient in each drum, obviously with proper tuning. Of course, each musician has their tastes and preferences in terms of the sound of the instrument and its tuning.

As far as rock is concerned, there is undoubtedly a great diversity in terms of the sound of the drums, and that is something that I have always loved. The size of the drumsticks or sticks considerably affect the sound of the drums. And the brushes have always caught my attention, although they are seen more regularly in jazz, they can also be seen in rock. They have a very sweet and subtle sound, shading the sound of the drums, but at the same time providing prominence with their particular sound effect. Personally, I really like learning and implementing new things. And in the case of the brushes or "Rutes", for me it has been something very enriching. Without a doubt, it is something that I really like about music, being able to continue learning and improve in exercise.

Music will always allow us to discover new sounds and new ways to create them. You just have to have the desire to learn and enjoy the process. There are endless ways to create and enjoy music, a sound universe.
