Is Hive Superior Than All Other Crypto?
Disclaimer: I Am A Hive Shill!
Now that we've got that out of the way, let me be crystal clear about something...No other project in crypto comes close to Hive! And I'm going to explain myself after making such a bold statement :)
This week we saw a stumble in the markets. Actually over the past few years, we've seen quite a few stumbles. The promise of the bull market is always on the horizon, yet we have not seen it yet. At least I don't think we have.
When the 'crypto winter' happens, the majority of people in the space, start losing their collective minds. Experts pop up and tell you to watch the charts. Influencers scream for attention because they KNOW where the markets are heading. And every day people usually end up selling their crypto because there is blood in the streets.
Want to know why?
99% of the people that freak out during the bear markets bought their crypto.
Usually at all time highs too, but they purchase it as investments with the promise and hope that the top of the market, was just the beginning of their rise to wealth.
And think about it for a second....The only way the majority of the crypto can be held is through purchasing it. Sure you can stake or get into some kind of high yield farming pool. But to 'enter' the crypto market, one usually has to spend some fiat to get into the game.
Here at Hive....We don't have to spend a dime to start 'earning' our stake!
I mean, sure we can go to a popular exchange and buy it right off the market. Stake it, delegate it, whatever....But for a lot of us on this journey, we have earned it through effort!

That's a fun little stat I like to view every now and again thanks to @hivebuzz In my 5 plus years of being on the blockchain, I've earned, through my own effort, over 58,000 $HIVE Power
Now of course, this is a unique situation for me and results may vary. But the point is, I didn't buy....Any of those tokens I earned. I created, commented and engaged.
Do we understand how powerful that is on a global level?
At the current exchange, that's around $20,000 worth of Hive earned, or about 4000 a year. And while that's not going to feed my family because I live in North America....What would $4000 a year do for other people around the world?
Hive literally...Can change the world. So of course the conspiracy theorist in me thinks, there is a reason why this blockchain and it's tokens aren't the top traded ones in the markets because....You don't need fiat, to get into this amazing blockchain!
And here's the best part.....
Once you start earning that precious Hive Power, you can choose to delegate it to others, reward others and curate others which helps, everyone involved!
This reason alone, makes Hive superior than any other project out there and why after 5 plus years, I'm still as bullish as ever.

If I wanted to get into crypto without risking money, Hive would be the answer. It's a place where you put nothing, get an account, be sociable or showcase whatever you're about and still get rewarded for it at a low risk. I've been here since 2018 from the legacy chain and the stake just grows even without me doing anything. It's sort of a cheat sometimes when others bought into their platforms and get rugged while us here have the free choice to dip our funds into crypto or just stay in the space learning more while getting a kickback.
And that's what is so great. You can get the engine running with a little bit of effort and then sit back and enjoy it!
Hive is more unique than rare and it is also the only Web 3.0 place where I like to be

Staking and delegation it is. I feel the programs like the BRO and EDS are valuable too. Each week I post my progress of those tokens. I am betting a lot on such type. I hope that in near future we get more delegation reward type of the stuff on Hive.

The moment I found Hive... the domino topple began, and it seems to be endless. I'm doing things here that I never imagined I'd be doing just one year back. It's amazing to build something viable from the ground up and see it thrive. This one-of-a-kind ecosystem made it all possible!

I also think Hive is the best place to earn crypto and it's all about your own effort from there. It's the most unique crypto out there because I don't think there is anything close to this at all. I guess we can also consider STEEM/BLURT but I still think Hive is superior to those two as well.

That's a good point... although it really does help spending some fiat to get started earning HIVE. Having enough RC to post and curate, and gain popularity and attention with a more generous upvote (even if it's just $0.01) or purchasing enough tipping tokens to spread the !LUV. All of these will fast-track success on HIVE, but mostly it's daily grind, daily commenting/curating and participation. Building a good name takes time. If a crypto millionaire came in buying 5M HIVE and powering it up, they would be an instant influencer and could grow that investment very quickly.
Many HIVE investors are selling off their earnings rather than staking. They blog, they send it to an exchange, they invest in other cryptos. I can sympathize with this tactic, since there are many crypto opportunities out there, and other cryptos are easier to convert back to fiat, but once HIVE catches on, those cashing out will regret their tactic.

we've seen it happen. lots of the most generous whales on Hive, bought their stake and have been distributing upvotes. a lot of the ones that have been here since 2016/17, really don't seem to upvote the community at all.
in the terms of use cases and utilities, Hive is one of the best performing Token on the world of cryptocurrency

Well, i see Hive as superior to other crypto because this is where my trust lies on. I have been hearing of other crypto investment but to me it doesn't sound pretty cool. Instead i stay on Hive investment even though the market is not worth telling.
There was a time I would say YES but that yes is fading and honestly I feel like we are behind the ball. Hopefully next year with Smart contracts and a few other cool features we will be back up to speed and taking things on strong!

STOPI think so it's a a matter of how do we get others to see it. I get pretty frustrated to see all these BS projects moon with no use case. A lot of them turn out to be fraudulent but still they get so many people to buy in.
