Whispers On The Wind

Early Years Songs About Wind Three Tune Tuesday #TTT

How far we walk is no indication of where we came from, living a constant performance, some dance through while others carry a heavy burden, is it up to each to perform to their best ability, it's all up in the air or on the wind, as has been for most of my life.

IMG_3681.JPG

Butterflies don't fly in strong wind

Most pertinent are the words music a close partner in life to take cognizance of. Yusuf /Cat Stevens The Wind Listen to the wind of your soul, it guides one when we hear an inner voice guiding gently.

Hidden secrets all around

Joan Baez & Bob Dylan - Blowing In The Wind questioning, ever questioning with words that bring life to the meaning of how many times must be rinse and repeat, the answer is out there. Always question, seek the truth before they're allowed to take everything from you.

Music heals the soul

Someone who visited our shores, brilliant outdoors under the stars concert Phil Collins - In the air tonight I can feel it every night, time to unwind let the mind roam is when whether young or old, once you admit you are on your own throughout this life as we roam, a realization many years ago we might share but never own.

Late to the party - never too late

Vigilant to the whispers on the wind, small indicators when to talk or listen, all it takes is being at peace with oneself enjoying the journey with music.

Lol, what a performance by Phill Collins, the talent of having to beat drums and sing along is absolutely wonderful to watch.
Those are great music back in the days.

Phil Collins concert at Kings Park Stadium (Kingsmead Cricket Stadium), Durban, South Africa on March 19, 1995, a night to remember. We bumped into friends we grew up with in Maraisburg now living here, it was amazing.

That version of Blowing in the Wind is awesome. I have heard a lot of other versions (including a kick-ass one by Neil Young), but not this one. Awesome!

Both brilliant musicians, Bob Dylan wrote the song in 1962 (he wrote for many musicians), many bands covered this song over the years.

I love Yusuf / Cat Stevens and Blowing in the Wind is one of my favourite songs.

As always: lovely images and great, wise words, Joan.
The proverb is awesome and so very right, although you also need good soil, as I am noticing at the moment ... and I have deep roots in very good soil 😉

I'm happy that you could manage to make one more of your inspiring posts 😊

An era of great music, song writing was alive and well, use of words everyone could relate to, perhaps it was because we were young... Now enjoy when working to listen to some originals in playlists.

Thanks for visiting and have a great day with !LUV and !LOLZ coming your way.

The week is almost over and after a hard day I'm relaxing on the balcony 😁
The sky is getting dark and I can hear thunder nearby ... the first raindrops are falling and I enjoy it because one meeting today was similar, but the storm clouds were in my head 😂

Hope you're also enjoying a nice afternoon 🌞

Great day yesterday with all local family descending into the home to wish Grant well. Now to start the packing and final arrangements which are many, some actually confusing!

A new start I think will do him well, at forty one a change will be good, experienced enough problems here. Clean slate that works out for him and all his friends who already made the move.

His friends and work will help to take it easier, and being in one of the most beautiful countries in the world will help too to forget and enjoy living there.
But you'll never forget home, where you have grown up, and where your beloved ones still live, completely.

It's a while since I have walked 6 km, but as soon as my shoulder is completely fine again I will go on a hike ... probably shorter than 6 km but steeper 😂

After 40 years of living on other places I still feel that I'm at home where I have grown up.

Sorry for my late reply, but work is very tiring at the moment - boss is on holidays and I have to do his job too, and co-workers are also on holidays ... and it's hot here 😅 !LOLZ no time at work and at home I'm seldom in the mood to do something. Hope nothing and nobody disturbs me while I quickly do my replies here 😉

Walking those distances we did on the beach ambling around, not done that since prior covid, beaches still contaminated with ecoli.

Where he is is reasonably flat so yes your hikes straight uphill count more 🙃

Home is where we grew up, I feel the same. Work is always tiring when one has to go and do their bit, well I hope that shoulder gets better soon and you rightly sprightly next time we chat !BEER

My shoulder is doing well again and doesn't hurt that much anymore, so my wife and I want to make a little trip today: a huge reservoir in the mountains and two rather short walks to waterfalls will be enough to sleep well tonight 😴 !LOLZ

One day you'll make long walks on the beach again 😊

Hope the weather is fine and you're having a great weekend 🌞

Enjoy the walk and waterfalls, look forward to seeing the adventure through the lens.

Lovely sunshine outdoors, ideal weather for a walk, also longing to do a beach walk one day soon when green light is given and river is clean where the dog loves to go.

At the moment it is the highlight of the year, young men train to work the waters always exciting to watch the netting process, feeds many inland buying on the shore, going home to preserve or make a good meal. Fish arrive with spotter planes advising the guys on the ground. YouTube a couple of days ago.... on our beach.

3 days later ... sorry for the late reply, but I don't have any time during the day at the moment, and at home I just want to relax.

We have had a good time at a reservoir and driving over a mountain pass through a national park, but I didn't take any photos. The weather was bad, but I loved that because there were almost no people 😁 !LOLZ

I hope you will soon get the green light and the beach is open again 🤞

Our weather is mostly wet since last Friday, but it's not too cold.

I know the Sardine Run - have seen videos of this amazing event before 😀

Fully understand the need to switch off after a day at the office, taking time to unwind on weekends not looking at a keyboard, our brains need that way more....

Enjoyed some glorious sunshine days and clear sky for the super moon last couple of nights, now the clouds have rolled in once again a little cooler.

Have a great day and take care.

Last few years in workplace they tend to suck you dry, take as many day passes away from everything to keep going.

Sunny today with weekend weather arriving, prediction is snow on the mountains so will be cold at the coast with rain.

I'm always late with my replies these days, but Friday after work I decided to make a short trip to the Dolomites to forget the office for a while. The weather was nice and warm for and I had a good time hiking, but photography weather wasn't the best - no clouds in the sky.

Hope your weekend was nice and you maybe have seen snowy mountains 🌞

Flowers with some hanging cloud lower down makes a lovely picture, doesn't need much in the Dolomites to capture exquisite photography!

As for training in it was on-going throughout my work life, one gets tired when little interest is shown. When in one position for too many years one takes on way more than we should have! Bosses don't realize till it's too late!

In the Dolomites you almost can't take a bad photo - thanks so much Joan 😊

That's why I am already trying to let others do much of my work, so that I can easier go on holidays and retire knowing that work will still be done without me ... not that I would really care 😉 !LOLZ
