Run Like The Wind

Mysterious Wind Thermals Of Time

Turning our sails into the wind to scoop exhilarating songs remembered over the years, reflecting on meaning or imagination, let's have some fun with #threetunetuesday blogging from the Silver's Camp.

Song puts instant magic into the air, song writer, singer, producer one many have missed over the years in Mike Batt, one of the songs to share where opening words alone are extremely descriptive giving one a feel of what is to come...

There's an eagle in the eastern sky, turning in the wind;
Out across the evening, resting on the wing.
If I had the wings of an eagle
There'd be no holding me
I'd be free
Sailing free.

Reminder in what you love enough you will let go free, never hang onto someone whose feelings are not mutual, never cage a bird or animal that should never be caged.

Song-writer-Producer wrote many songs for movies, musicians. Currently in 2022, Batt launched Croix-Noire, an art project with Jean-Charles Capelli, linking music, comics and video games. Mike Batt

Ride the Wild Wind reminds me of my younger self, testing boundaries, questioning pushing limits to extremes what was the risk? Youth with attitude sounds so familiar today, "We got freaks to the left - We got jerks to the right" not much has changed, spot on!

Encountering positive daredevil attitude is what most do with age on their side, older folk click their tongues or wag them in disdain, think back to that age, put yourself in their shoes I say.

I clearly remember saying to my Mom "You only live once, take a chance, experience what it is to be young, make the most of it, why not?" she would gently smile and calmly retort, "watch what you do before you regret it!"

Beautiful instrumental sweeping emotions, removing the dusty upheaval of life, leaving behind peace of mind and tranquility, made in 1972 Santana knew how to make music talk. Listening this could relate to a tale of romance, adventure and intrigue. Written during the era of sex and drugs and rock n roll, exploring music in many different forms, here one uses imagination riding the feeling of what you hear.

Exploring religions, what life is all about, reading works of other composers, trying LSD or similar, some portals they ventured down introduced new frequencies to songs.

Eastern philosophy finding how to purify the mind meditation, or clean body, saved him from turmoil at the time, upheaval in the band, loss of friends to drugs and many outside influences happening all around.

Wise words dear Joan, errors are what made us what we are know. Hopefully one learns from them so you can set yourself free to make new errors hence learn new stuff...

Love your music selection, rather appropiate. Best vibes to you Joan 🤗

Sure to have missed a couple of great musicians, so many to listen to back in the early years, Mike Batt has always remained one I enjoy immensely.

If we forget everything else from our youth, Oh boy we will remember the music!

Wow. Yes. Letting go of what is not meant for us us hard lesson, but incredibly freeing once we realize what is in the other side, and what has been waiting for us to clear the clutter. Thank you for this lovely post and the beautiful imagery ❤️

Although I haven't listened this song but I truly agree that there are songs which reminds us our youthful times when we want to break the boundaries and want to fly in the open air without any restriction.

I used to love listening to Santana, but then again, I was always a rebel at heart. I grew up standing my ground and never stopped exploring all the adventures I could. NO REGRETS, just living life to the fullest, and isn't that the best ever we can do for ourselves? Love this post, Joan.
