Moving onto Earthbound, a powerful gritty live recording released in 1972, pushing the boundaries! Fascinating, talented group that could go mellow or take you into jive your shoes off, making instruments speak to you....

Earthbound Live - Peoria (1972)

Boz Burrell, Mel Collins, Robert Fripp, and Ian Wallace surpassed their contemporaries, pushing their music to the limits.

Like life itself some music thrills, these are one of the bands to go back to years later, hear with a new ear enjoying the combinations put together as I found in King Crimson style.

Band formally disbanding 1974, reformed early 1980s with final concert in Japan 2021 where Fripp announced "King Crimson left the room" now feeling too old to tour.

Through lockdowns online sharing continued with Robert Fripp and Toyah Wilcox (wife), recently toured around the UK during October this year.

Oh this is blast I still hear the odd song from King Crimson, although they were a wee bit before my time.

Robert Fripp I most know as being married to Toyah

Enjoyed music during those years with the altering styles being added, each band trying different styles in sound, fun years!

Wife not really known here except being an actress, Robert Fripp has been around in musical world for, well a long time....

Music is a friend and faithful companion, it is in the good and bad moments of our lives dear friend @joanstewart
I love this challenge, it gives us the opportunity to learn about music that other people like, that we had not heard before.
This week's selection is beautiful, enjoy a wonderful afternoon

Hmmm really then i bet you must know alot of old school musicians then. I wonder what that time looks like, do they carry afro hair putting on Palazzo trousers and high shoes like they show in old school movies?
