Loud And Proud Rock Music

Music Is Poetry Accompanied By Instruments

Everyone wanted to be a Rock Star growing up, oh a few thought about medical, astronaut, farmer, most wanted to beat the drums, strum a guitar or sing, young enough to dream not talented enough, leave it to those who could!

Audience was a cult British art rock band, Howard Werth, vocals/ nylon-strung electric guitar, Keith Gemmell, soprano and tenor saxophone/clarinet/flute, Tony Connor, drums/vocals , Trevor Williams, bass guitar/vocals.

Audience - House on the Hill released in 1972 like many bands a short period together 1969 to 1972, dispersed into other groups. Style of music and sound was different something unique and experimental style, which combined elements of rock, jazz, and classical music.

Traffic were an English rock band formed in Birmingham in April 1967 by Steve Winwood, Jim Capaldi, Chris Wood and Dave Mason.

Traffic - The Low Spark Of High-Heeled Boys released 1971, classical rock with bluesy vibes in between, a band I thoroughly enjoy whether dancing or chilling out to listen. Steve Winwood singing I would recognize anywhere being a fan from some time ago.... That distant past, when girls had a crush on at least one member in every band!

Supertramp Another great early 1970's band of progressive rock, formed by two childhood friends, Rick Davies, vocals/keyboard and Roger Hodgson, vocals/keyboards/guitars, with other members coming/going as was part of the bands in the time.

"The Logical Song," talks about questioning society's expectations, then finding one's own path. Another hit "Give a Little Bit," encouraged kindness and generosity towards others. Sound advice then as it is now!

Supertramp - The Logical Song

Many of the old geezers mentioned are still enjoying life to the full, some still make live appearances. Not having seen any of the above perform live, the music lives on in my mind bring youth and vibrancy to the fore each time I listen I still do a 'jig~a~jig'... swing the hips, bend the knees till..., the next round. Enjoy Life!

Totally agree.
But music might bring people to their younger versions.

I'm not from that era but I'm sure I would have fallen in love with one of the band members heh heh. Although I don't know English, I like this kind of music, they are relaxing to get through the day. Thanks for sharing.

Nice selections for three tune Tuesday. Hearing songs from our younger days always awakes the senses and makes one want to dance.

yeah, these are three tunes from my time as well (maybe a little earlier), but still remind me of my youth. I still love Supertramp.

Steve Winwood's Roll With It was a big hit when I was in high school (gives you a good indication of how old I am) and that's still one of my favourite songs of all time.

New song 2020 Steve Winwood "Now The Green Blade Riseth" -

Groups or songs pop into my head I find them and listen almost daily, great to go through numbers you often forget.

And then there are those times where you get a song in your head that you can't get out and you don't even like it. That's cause for listening to absolutely anything else, right then and there.

I like it when people send me to the dictionary, that's fun. Not often they stump me with music. Audience.. Never heard of'em.
