Synthesised Sound Way Ahead Of Time
Kraftwerk a German electronic band formed in Düsseldorf in 1970 by Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider. Pioneers and innovators of electronic music of which we own three vinyl LP's Autobahn, Ralf & Florian, Only Three Pounds.
The name apparently stemmed back to the industrial area they grew up in Germany with the name translating to 'power plant', descriptively they inherited nickname 'sound chemists' "klangchemiker". Eccentric German musicians dabbling in robotic ideas for tomorrow's world, technologically perfect engineering!

1974 Electro Classic from German Group Kraftwerk. The full German lyrics are as follows:
Wir fahr'n fahr'n fahr'n auf der Autobahn
Vor uns liegt ein weites Tal
Die Sonne scheint mit Glitzerstrahl
Die Fahrbahn ist ein graues Band
Weisse Streifen, gruener Rand
Jetzt schalten wir ja das Radio an
Aus dem Lautsprecher klingt es dann:
Wir fah'rn auf der Autobahn...
ENGLISH TRANSLATION:
We are driving on the Autobahn
In front of us is a wide valley
The sun is shining with glittering rays
The driving strip is a grey track
White stripes, green edge

Kraftwerk - Die Roboter 1978
Music that gripped the world with something totally new, used for five generations later being constantly tweaked to perform music not heard previously. Little is known about the musicians, very private yet putting out music that got you going.
It was realised by a combination of Kraftwerk's synth arsenal, the ARP Odyssey, Moog and EMS, with the Moog taking bass duties via Hütter and the ARP the lead lines played by Schneider Kraftwerk Synths
Kraftwerk - Ralf Und Florian
Musicians who paved the way forward hang in the wall of fame alongside Beatles and bands that really altered our way of doing things. Ralf & Florian was earlier to Autobahn which many never knew what to do with this new age sound.
Driving music, hell yes roll down the windows let the wind blow your hair while the music blew your mind, still enjoy taking time to reminisce, a wee time ago. Now the oldies are popping off one by one, yup inevitable so before I go I want to introduce you to some tracks, Listen! Loud! Enjoy!

This is group is legendary! They were ahead of their time. I like a lot of electronic music, and they're a big influence on my music and the covers a make. Today I was listening to their song “Showroom Dummies” which are one of my favourite songs. Great choose of songs you made!
When in the mood for this type of music it is great to put it up loud, then let your mind wander, glad you also enjoy their sound.

They arrived on the music scene with such a different format and sound it was exciting. Doubt many realized who much they would influence music moving forward into the next generations.

They are so original, love listening to them now and again.. Autobahn is probably my favorite! Love that we can drive as fast as we want on it!! haha
Not something you would listen to everyday, when the day does arrive you tend to over indulge on that sound it is gripping. Inventing instruments to accomplish, pure genius.
Never heard about this group.. But I do love Beatle's old songs ☺️
Beatles is standard in most older collections, one or two, plus Rolling Stones and a few others. This group had a following in being so different to the norm.

An intresting band, with a complicated history behind the curtains. 'Radioactivity' is my fave track from them, that I added to my 'assorted tracks'' playlist (hidden in my bottom-less hard drive ))))
