Late 60s early 70s Band

Size mic shift had moved musicians to create different since the inception of The Beatles. it was not unusual to pop into a record store, listen to a new LP, take it home and hear more, this is what happened when purchasing Can - Tago Mago.

IMG_8081.JPG

Why you may ask, it was different, an experimental Krautrock band revisited going through my listing that I have not taken the time to enjoy of late. Many today reflect how far ahead of their time they were influencing other musicians during their time.

Extreme music, or extremely different and good this held me spell bound listening to it once again, instruments talk one does not need to understand the words being sung...

Can - Oh Yeah

Something you might want to lend an ear to before I forget, for many it will not resonate, others will find the sound refreshingly contemporary and gloriously extreme. Members at the time in making Tago Mago.

Damo Suzuki – vocals
Holger Czukay – bass guitar, engineering, editing
Michael Karoli – electric guitar, acoustic guitar, violin
Jaki Liebezeit – drums, double bass, piano

Irmin Schmidt – Farfisa organ and electric piano, electronics, vocals

Can - Mushroom

Plenty time to listen to these shorter tracks the double albumn has some awesome long tracks to simply switch off and feel the musical genius of bands that many have forgotten, most have since passed on.

Can - Bring Me Coffee or Tea

For those who lived during these years, music was our first love and it will be the last, always. Some links have been dropped into this content to enjoy finding out more, let me know what you think.
