Praise and Worship week 56/ Dream Theater - I walk beside You (Guitar cover)

Hola a todos. Espero que estén teniendo una excelente semana a todo los integrantes de esta maravillosa comunidad de #soundmusic. En esta oportunidad quise compartir con ustedes un cover en la guitarra eléctrica de una canción no muy conocida de una una banda que es una de mis favoritas del género música progresiva como lo es Dream Theater. La canción se llama I walk beside You de su álbum Octavarium del año 2005. Siguiendo el tema de esta semana "Nearer, My God to the Thee", la canción que escogí pienso que es adecuada para esta semana porque la letra explica sobre la necesidad de una persona de estar cerca de Dios y como este le habla explicando que tenga fé en él que dónde quiera que vaya, dónde quiera que se encuentre, no importa la distancia y lo que pase Dios estará allí. Así como también en los tiempos de duda y cuando pueda sentir desesperanza el sol volverá a salir y que no se rinda que mejores tiempos están por venir. La letra explica todo eso es sencilla palabras pero de forma perfecta con un mensaje de apoyo y solidaridad. La letra de esta canción un mensaje de compañía hacia una persona que está pasando por momentos difíciles. Las palabras 'There's a story in your eyes' y 'I can see the hurt behind your smile' se puede explicar como Dios tiene la capacidad de percibir el dolor que alguien. El coro 'I walk beside you / Wherever you are / Whatever it takes / No matter how far' refuerza la promesa de estar presente y apoyar incondicionalmente a la persona en cuestión, sin importar las circunstancias. Dream Theater es conocido por su estilo progresivo y virtuosismo en todos los instrumentos, pero I Walk Beside You' puede parecer más sencilla en comparación con otras canciones. La canción aborda temas universales como la empatía, el apoyo mutuo y la resiliencia frente a los problemas de la vida.

Hello everyone. I hope all the members of this wonderful #soundmusic community are having a great week. On this occasion I wanted to share with you a cover on the electric guitar of a not very well-known song by a band that is one of my favorites in the progressive musical genre, such as Dream Theater. The song is called I walk next You from their 2005 album Octavarium. Following this week's theme "Nearer, My God to the Thee", the song I chose I think is appropriate for this week because the lyrics explain the need of a person to be close to God and how he speaks to him explaining that he has faith in him that wherever he goes, wherever he is, no matter the distance and whatever happens God will be there. As well as in times of doubt and when you may feel hopelessness, the sun will rise again and don't give up, better times are yet to come. The lyrics explain all this in simple words but perfectly with a message of support and solidarity.
