Take the chance after the father's blessings

Hello Everyone.

Welcome to my blog.

I love and appreciate good music, especially ones with amazing lyrics.
The lyrics are just spoken words with meaning.

You could be sure to relate in one way or the other with your present or past situation, just by listening to them.
Most of them, directs one's path too, obeying instructions.

Pray For Me (Gbadura Fun Mi) by Darey happens to be in the category of such songs.

The song is a soft tune song but the lyrics is what puts one on the feet.
The song is about Darey narrating his life from when he became a young adult, in his cool youthful age.

Said he woke up one Sunday morning and decided he was leaving home to go find greener pasture in the city.
His father advised him not to go because life in the city is unbelievable and it would be hard to find his way.

He still insisted, saying he knows it would be hard to find his way because obviously he doesn't have a relative there.
But he should pray for him to find his way.

He left and called them after four years and some months to ask how they were doing,he accepted that what he said to him back then was true.

In most cases, elders especially parents doesn't give useless advice.
They have gone through life experiences and advises someone through their experience but a young and vibrant person wouldn't listen.

That's why they say "experience is the best teacher" but we hope and pray that the experience wouldn't take our life before we could get a chance to learn.

I can't get over this song with me understanding that adulthood is really difficult and it's not something one needs to rush into.
If you still have little time to enjoy your parents sponsorship, enjoy it before it expires.
Then, you can face adulthood and still fight your battle because it will never be easy.
I am not referring to people that are born with silver spoons please.

To you out there, struggling to beat adulthood best wishes to you.

I dedicate "Pray For Me (Gbadura Fun Mi) by Darey" to you.

Do enjoy the rest of your day.

Hmmm whenever i listen to this song too, i can't help but cry silently because i can relate to most things he said in his lyrics.😔😔 Experience is truly the best teacher but i hope we all learn in the easy way and not the hard way. Thats why i always find music 🎵 as my solace. Not just because of the melody it gives to my ears, but also how well most of them gives full details about either my past or present as if it was written for me🙂🙂🙂.
Thank you for sharing this thoughtful post.😍

On those days when it seems like things are going hay wire, this is the song I use to direct my focus in prayer to God.

A real masterpiece 👍
