The total separation occurs when the two parties feel there is no use prolonging issues.

While in some cases, one person has to make the sacrifice to let go, even though deep down he/she doesn't want to let go.

Saying goodbye to a relationship that was built for some time can be very challenging to accept and move on, but it is, what it is.

Some walk away from relationships, saying their final goodbye when they feel the other person is neglecting them.

The other person neglecting might not really know that's the case.
The saying we don't value what we have until we lose it is applicable here.
