Hive Music Festival - Week N° 144- Round 3 | El Gran Amor De Mi Vida (Unreleased Song)

Hello, everyone! It is with great joy that I greet you through the Music Zone community and make my entry for week 144 in round number 3. My name is Jhony Medina, and I am a performer of Venezuelan folklore. Today, I join this activity by performing for you this unreleased song by my father, Horacio Medina, entitled “El Gran Amor de mi Vida” (The Great Love of My Life). This beautiful song was written about seven years ago, and it tells us about when a love leaves us and we have to embark on a search for inner peace in different places, living through moments of loneliness, sadness, and great uncertainty. We definitely have to rediscover ourselves and learn to live with the lessons that pain teaches us.

El Gran Amor de mi Vida is a song that has been very well received by different audiences and in different cities and venues in Venezuela and abroad. The composer Horacio Medina carried this song deep in his heart and had great faith and affection for it. Today we have the great opportunity to perform it for you. It is a song that we plan to include in our future recordings, especially because my father passed away exactly one year ago this week, and we want to continue with the tribute and compilation of his music. With much love, I intend to lend my voice so that his lyrics will live on. I am very grateful to Hive Music Festival for welcoming me. This is my third consecutive week here, and I am very happy. ¡Hola a todos! Es de gran alegría para mí saludarlos a través de la comunidad Music Zone y poder realizar mi entrada para la semana 144 en la ronda número 3. Mi nombre es Jhony Medina, intérprete del folclore venezolano. Hoy me sumo a esta actividad interpretado para ustedes este tema inédito de mi padre Horacio Medina, el cual se titula "El Gran Amor de mi Vida". Esta hermosa canción tiene al rededor de unos 7 años desde su composición, y nos habla de cuando un amor se va y nos toca emprender la búsqueda de nuestra paz interior por distinto lugares, viviendo en esos momentos de soledad, tristeza y mucha incertidumbre a la vez. Definitivamente nos toca reencontrarnos a nosotros mismos y aprender a vivir con la enseñanza que nos deja el dolor.

El Gran Amor de mi Vida es una canción que a tenido una gran receptividad en distintos públicos y en distintas ciudades en diferentes y escenarios de Venezuela y fuera de ella. El compositor Horacio Medina llevo este tema en lo más profundo de su corazón y le mantuvo mucha fe y cariño. Hoy en día tenemos la gran oportunidad de interpretarlo para ustedes, es una canción que tenemos pensado incluir en nuestras producciones discográficas a futuro, especialmente porque mi padre está cumpliendo un año de fallecido precisamente esta semana, y queremos seguir con el homenaje y la recopilación de su música. Con mucho amor pienso prestar mi voz para que sus letras se mantengan en el tiempo. Estoy muy agradecido con Hive Music Festival por el recibimiento hacia mi persona, ya esta es mi tercera semana consecutiva y estoy muy feliz.
