Granada | Un Momento Musical Mágico en La Alhambra [Eng-Esp]

This video represents a little of the experience we have lived on the fifth day of our musical tour through Spain where we arrived in the city of Granada. A place with a lot to offer tourists, especially for its history and landscapes. I think my biggest impression was finding the snow a little closer...

Este video representa un poco la experiencia que hemos vivido en el quinto día de nuestra gira musical por España donde llegamos a la ciudad de Granada. Un lugar con mucho por ofrecer a los turistas, especialmente por su historia y paisajes. Creo que mi impresión más grande fue encontrarme con la nieve un poco más cerca...

I've heard a lot of things about Cierra Nevada, but I don't know if they're true. They tell me that they filmed part of The Snow Society there, but I don't know if it's to scare me because they know that airplanes make me nervous and in fact here in this city it is the only place where we will have to take a plane to our next destination. Jhoxiris tells me that it is true, but real or not I have fallen in love with the white of the snow on top of the mountain.

Escuché muchas cosas sobre Cierra Nevada, pero no sé si serán ciertas. Me dicen que ahí filmaron parte de La Sociedad de la Nieve, pero no sé si es para asustarme porque saben que los aviones me ponen nervioso y de hecho aquí en esta ciudad es el único lugar donde tendremos que tomar un avión hasta nuestro próximo destino. Jhoxiris me dice que es verdad, pero real o no me he enamorado del blanco de la nieve en lo alto de la montaña.

I was very surprised that although there was snow in the mountains, it was as hot as a normal day in Caracas. We had two performances that day and they weren't in formal attire, so maybe the choral jacket made me feel hotter than I was. We sang in the House Museum of Federico García Lorca and it was very special because our pianist played the piano that Lorca used inside his house and with the window open we sang several of his poems and Los Nocturnos de la Ventana, music from here in Granada.

Me sorprendió mucho que aunque había nieve en la montaña hacia un calor parecido al de un día normal en Caracas. Tuvimos dos presentaciones ese día y no fueron con traje de gala, así que quizás la chaqueta de la coral me hizo sentirme más caliente de lo que era. Cantamos en la Casa Museo de Federico García Lorca y fue muy especial porque nuestro pianista todo el piano que Lorca usaba dentro de su casa y con la ventana abierta cantamos varias de sus poesías y Los Nocturnos de la Ventana, música de aquí de Granada.

We had the privilege of visiting the Alhambra, a place with a lot of history and spirituality, and we made it much more special by surprising the tourists who were passing by by suddenly starting to sing and dispersed throughout the Palace of Charles V. A moment that we will carry in our hearts and minds forever. At the end of this video for 3speak you can find a little of what I'm talking about, I don't know if you'll miss it...

Tuvimos el privilegio de visitar La Alhambra, un lugar con mucha historia y espiritualidad, y lo hicimos mucho más especial al sorprender a los turistas que estaban de paso al comenzar a cantar repentinamente y dispersos por todo el Palacio de Carlos V.
