With much affection I send a special greeting to all the Music Community and the followers of Three Tune Tuesday, an initiative of @ablaze that has become one of the favorite moments of the week. Sunday I was home alone, lately that doesn't happen much, so in the best style of the movie of the same name I did many things that I usually don't do anymore, and one of them was listening to some 2000's metal music classics, of course at the same time I was cleaning the house 😅 I can't ignore that we are in 2024 already, but many of these tracks have remained playing in my head and in fact I have continued listening to this playlist in my free time, so I will share with you a bit of my favorites.

1. Chop Suey! by System Of A Down

It's not just because it's one of the great metal classics representative of the early 2000's, I actually started with this band because even though I was already listening to a little bit of Limp Bizkit and Korn, the kings of MTV in 1999, System Of A Down came into my life and I really connected with them. It was the first album of this genre that I listened to in its entirety and sometimes several times a day for about two years until I got over the fever. My parents hated me listening to this music and actually gave me my first decent headphones, so it was very beneficial for me. I remember one time I ran some Jehovah's Witnesses who were threatening at my window with the 4th track on the album, the one I used specifically to scare people away 🤣 Here told you the link so you feel the power and leave my post you too hahahahaha...

2. Cry For The Moon by Epica

This band came into my life through my favorite cousin.... And yes, I have a favorite cousin 😬 it's not a normal anda for those who are metal lovers, since Epica is symphonic metal and their singers have always been characterized for being epic sopranos. Fusion is wonderful and is one of my favorite musical genres of all time, but it is a very exclusive music for true music lovers, not everyone can understand the power hidden in these harmonies. Continuing with the anecdote of my parents, this music could not criticize me 100%, they were clear that they had no way hahahaha, but they never stopped giving me headphones every three months when they were damaged... What did they want to tell me? 🤔

¿Qué me abran querido decir? 🤔

3. Faint by Linkin Park

My favorite Linkin Park song will always be In The End, as will many here, but Faint is very special to me, I tried to sing the chorus many times Chester style, but it never came out. Today my vocal cords are grateful because I work with them daily in the choir, but I did a tremendous show in 2003 in my high school library when this video started on Mtv in our free time, in fact I ended up in the sectional and my parents had to go looking for me 😏 I did it again with the music of Evanescence a few months later 🤣

My Favorite Metal Music Albums

In this image above are not all my favorite albums, but many of them and some of the bands I talk about in this post. In this opportunity I want to say goodbye with the only cover I've done in this style for Hive, with the help of @fernanblog in the video editing and Omar who helped me with the audio. It's a song from Evanescence's Fallen album called Haunted, I hope you like it...

But what happened here? hahahahahaha I remember when I used to listen to Thalia, my grandfather would get mad and tell me "get that noise out" hahaha they don't let you listen to what they want to listen to 😂

With Epica you couldn't throw them out, even if it was metal, it sounded angelic haha I would have loved to see your parents face when they gave you the headphones, their intentions were clear 😂

Yes, it was very clear what they wanted, although I was still dying of happiness 🥰 hey, I think I'm going to take advantage of talking about Thalía next week, I don't understand why she didn't like it hahaha, it's not the most powerful voice that exists, but Thalía is Thalía 😎 thank you for your support my friend 🙏

How are you dear friend @jesuslnrs
I think that if I listened to this music when I was young, my parents would also be upset, to be honest, I didn't like this type of music until I started studying a career as a sound and recording technician, only then did I begin to appreciate metal.
I love this week's choice, especially "Chop Suey!" by System Of A Down¨
I appreciate that every week you give us a beautiful musical selection.

Have a fantastic day

I discovered it in 2000 and although it is not my favorite musical genre it means a lot to me, there is a lot of energy and memories with that part of me, I think my rebellious part. Despite there being a lot of noise, sometimes I also learned to appreciate this art and many of the lyrics of these songs are very important for a special moment. Thanks for stopping by to say hello brother, I also wish you a great day ✌️
