Greetings to the Music Community and to all those who participate in the Three Tunes Tuesday, an initiative of our friend @ablaze. I don't think I've ever talked on Hive about how important 1999 was for me, music-wise. That year was the end of my childhood, the beginning of my adolescence and the end of a millennium. I understood that Shakira was my favorite pop artist, but I also discovered a sea of music and artists that are still with me in my playlists today.

Creo que nunca he hablado en Hive de lo importante que fue el año 1999 para mí, respecto a la música. Ese año terminaba la niñez, comenzaba mi adolescencia y terminaba un milenio. Entendí que Shakira era mi artista pop favorito, pero también descubrí un mar de música y artistas que hasta hoy me acompañan en mis playlists.

I just arrived from Spain and I'm fatter than ever, so I've started to do some diet and exercise, but I need to increase the pace, because I almost don't fit in my own pictures 😅 Dancing or warming up from home is also important, I don't want to stay alone in the gym, but to achieve this I have had to turn to music that really motivates me to move and I remembered a music that always made my soul happy, Techno, or Eurodance from the 90's, specifically the ones that were in fashion that year, and I want to share the music of three of my favorite artists from that time.

Acabo de llegar de España y estoy mas gordo que nunca, así que he comenzado a hacer algo de dieta y ejercicios, pero necesito aumentar el ritmo, porque casi no quepo en mis propias fotografías 😅 Bailar o hacer calentamiento desde casa también es importante, no quiere quedarme solo en el gym, pero para lograrlo he tenido que acudir a música que realmente me motive a moverme y recordé una música que siempre me alegró el alma, el Techno, o Eurodance de los 90, específicamente las que estaban de moda ese año, y quiero compartir la música de tres de mis artistas favoritos de ese entonces.

I don't know how they have managed it, but from this successful band from the end of the last century and the beginning of this millennium, the song Blue has transcended in time and today its melody is known by very young people. Definitely techno does not go out of fashion, it just transforms. Like the following songs that I will share with you, I danced a lot to this music in my last year of elementary school, which coincided with my interest in girls and music. To this day I love listening to this music with headphones, including other hits like Move Your Body and a wonderful version from Discovery Channel...

No sé cómo lo han logrado, pero de esta exitosa banda de finales del siglo pasado e inicio de este milenio, la canción Blue ha trascendido en el tiempo y hoy su melodía es conocida por personas muy jóvenes. Definitivamente el techno no pasa de moda, solo se transforma. Al igual que las siguientes canciones que les compartiré, bailé mucho esta música en mi último año de primaria, que coincidía con mi interés en las chicas y la música. Hasta hoy amo escuchar esta música con audífonos, incluyendo otros éxitos como Move Your Body y una versión maravillosa de Discovery Channel...

I loved all of Alice Deejay's songs back in '99, especially Better Off Alone, and another techno relic that proves that his hits stand the test of time and evolve over the years creating new versions. The vibe transmitted by her electric sound and sharp melody caused a furor at parties and everyone joined the dance floor. I think the singer went out of fashion only because this musical genre did not survive the change of millennium, but her legacy is eternal.

Me gustaban todas las canciones de Alice Deejay en el 99, especialmente Better Off Alone, y otra reliquia del techno que demuestra que sus éxitos se mantienen en el tiempo y evolucionan con el paso de los años creando nuevas versiones. La vibra que transmitía su sonido eléctrico y melodía aguda causaba furor en las fiestas y todos se sumaban a la pista de baile. Creo que la intérprete pasó de moda solo porque este género musical no sobrevivió tanto el cambio de milenio, pero su legado es eterno.
