TTT | Three Tune Tuesday | New Music For Me
Hello everyone. I'm happy to be back to the Tuesday music recommendations, a proposal from my friend @ablaze and in which I couldn't participate these last weeks due to travel reasons. In each of the hotels where I stayed I always arrived and the first thing I did was to turn on the TV and look for music channels; unlike my girl I can't stand the silence of a hotel room and I always have to have music in the background and in fact I need the TV to be on at night in strange rooms for me 😅
¡Hola a todos!. Estoy feliz de volver a las recomendaciones musicales de los Martes, una propuesta del amigo @ablaze y en la que no pude participar estas últimas semanas por motivos de viaje. En cada uno de los hoteles donde me hospedé siempre llegaba y lo primero que hacía era prender el televisor y buscar los canales musicales; a diferencia de mi chica no soporto el silencio de una habitación de hotel y siempre tengo que tener música de fondo y de hecho necesito que el televisor esté prendido en las noches en habitaciones extrañas para mí 😅
Before we went on tour we had no time for anything other than studying the music we were going to sing, and seriously there was no time for anything since about January. Several of my favorite artists made new music and I wasn't aware of it, but they came to me through their music videos that they repeated over and over again, no matter what city we were in, so back I have been listening to a lot of new music for me, but my favorites are always the pop divas that lately are making a lot of emphasis on electropop. Maybe these songs are not new to you, but I just discovered them the last couple of weeks and I'm just learning them...
Antes de irnos de gira no tuvimos tiempo de nada, más que estudiar la música que íbamos a cantar, y es en serio que no hubo tiempo de nada desde Enero aproximadamente. Varios de mis artistas favoritos hicieron música nueva y no estuve al tanto de ello, pero llegaron a mí a través de sus videos musicales que repetían una y otra vez, no importa la ciudad en la que nosotros nos encontráramos, así que de regreso he estado escuchando mucha música nueva para mí, pero mis favoritas siempre son las divas del pop que últimamente están haciendo mucho énfasis en el electropop. Quizás estas canciones no son nuevas para ustedes, pero yo las descubrí este último par de semanas y a penas me las estoy aprendiendo...
1. Miley Cyrus - Doctor (Work It Out)
I'll start with Miley Cyrus, this girl that I follow closely since the 2000's and she seems to get better with the years. Right now Miley has a special glow, I feel her free and very natural in every musical work she does. This song Doctor I think came out while I was traveling and since I saw the music video it gave me a very good vibe. I love that she makes music with Pharrell Williams, as he is another great hit maker. The last I heard from her before I got busy was that she sang at the Grammys with this new look and it had gone great, so I'm glad she left some visual work with this image to keep remembering her in one of the best moments of her career.
Comenzaré con Miley Cyrus, esta chica que sigo de cerca desde la década de los 2000 y que parece mejorar con los años. Justo ahora Miley tiene un brillo especial, la siento libre y muy natural en cada uno de los trabajos musicales que hace. Esta canción Doctor creo que salió mientras estuve de viaje y desde que vi el video musical me transmitió mucha buena vibra. Me encanta que haga música junto a Pharrell Williams, ya que es otro creador de grandes éxitos. Lo último que supe de ella antes de ocuparme fue que cantó en los Grammys con este nuevo look y que le había ido genial, así que me alegra que dejara algún trabajo visual con esta imagen para seguirla recordando en uno de los mejores momentos de su carrera.
2. Dua Lipa - Houdini
I had the pleasure of appreciating Kany García's music live at the Teresa Carreño Theater in Caracas in 2022. I had already liked her music since the 2000's, but I really knew her songs thanks to Jhoxiris who is a follower of her work and plays her a lot here at home. The thing is that since that day I was amazed with her most famous songs, but I know that there is pure gold in those songs that don't become promotional singles, intense ballads and a pop in Spanish faithful to the characteristic sound of the style and away from the current reggaeton fashion. I want Kany to be more present in my daily life, so I'm already putting together my playlist to get lost in her compositions...
Creo que esta canción está desde Diciembre o algo así, pero sinceramente no le había prestado atención. Siento que Dua Lipa es una de las mayores representantes de la década que estamos viviendo, por no decir la mayor representante, pero nunca he entendido por qué tanto éxito; quizás sea por compararla con voces de impacto como Mariah Carey o Christina Aguilera, bailarinas poderosas como Britney Spears o Jennifer Lopez o simplemente la genialidad y originalidad de Madonna y Shakira, la verdad no encuentro nada especial en Dua Lipa, pero vaya que nos ha regalado grandes éxitos y la hemos convertido en una de las estrellas del momento. Estoy obsesionado con esta canción de tanta publicidad que vi en la televisión y por supuesto, este sonido electropop que alegra mis días.
3. Ariana Grande - yes, and?
I think Ariana Grande was the most played song in Spain while I was there, because not only was her video being played over and over again on TV, but this song was in advertisements, played in the disco stores I visited and on several radio stations while we were traveling on the buses. The song had been out before my trip, but it was at its best. It reminds me a lot of Madona sounds from the late 80's and early 90's, it's great. What I do worry about is seeing her getting thinner and thinner, but wow her voice continues to mature and become one of the most powerful in recent times.
Creo que Ariana Grande era lo que más se escuchaba en España mientras estuve, porque no solo rodaban su video una y otra vez en televisión, sino que esta canción estaba en publicidades, sonada en las disco tiendas que visité y en varias emisoras de radio mientras viajábamos en los autobuses. La canción ya había salido antes de mi viaje, pero se encontraba en su mejor momento. Me recuerda mucho a sonidos de Madona de finales de los 80 e inicios de los 90, es genial. Lo que sí me preocupa es verla cada vez más delgada, pero vaya que su voz sigue madurando y convirtiéndose en una de las más potentes de los últimos tiempos.
Of course I still recommend Shakira's "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran". I think it's a great album, despite the lyrics of the first promotional single with Cardi B that has nothing to do with the rest of the songs. A few days after buying this new album another music video came out for a song more representative of the feeling Shakira wanted to share, so I recommend it with a fourth option in my post today. Sorry for cheating, but Shakira is worth it 😅
Por supuesto que sigo recomendando "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran" de Shakira. Me parece un álbum genial, a pesar de la letra del primer sencillo promocional junto a Cardi B que no tiene nada que ver con el resto de las canciones. A unos días de comprar este nuevo disco salió otro video musical de una canción más representativa del sentimiento que Shakira quería compartir, así que la recomiendo con una cuarta opción en mi post del día de hoy. Disculpen que haga trampa, pero Shakira lo vale 😅

Oye, esta canción fue un verdadero regalo para los fans. Entiendo que no es su género de siempre, pero la letra es muy intensa y su estilo es tranquilo, lejano al sonido que últimamente comparte Shak. Me alegro que a ti también te guste. Amo esa frase de: Se nota cuando se quiere, pero cuando no, se nota más ❤️🩹 y sigo viviendo un sueño grande con unos ex amigos...
La letra es muy buena, pero muchas de ella lo son y tienen mucha fuerza! Es genial!

Día Lipa es genial y muy interesante, no puedo ignorarla jaja, pero es que su éxito está a nivel de grandes del pasado que hacían de todo y me preocupa que los jóvenes piensen que es lo mejor que hay jajaja, pero es muy buena y creo que la reina de esta década, hasta ahora. Me encanta que te guste Miley, no cabe duda que es la más parecida a ti, musicalmente hablando y está canción tiene una vibra genial, esta chama está brillando mucho desde el año pasado, creo que más que nunca ❤️
