Yes, life is about change, but some changes come and truly surprise us... There are changes that are more of a transformation, a complete transformation of mind, soul, body, everything... I think I'm currently undergoing a new metamorphosis, something I didn't seek, something that's just happening, and best of all, something I like... I always get excited when I keep rediscovering myself, and that's where this song comes in, which I discovered through Julieta Venegas, which you can see in the video above.
This is one of my favorite songs. I was a few years old when it came out, right at an age and time when I was going through my first transitions into adulthood. First loves, first fears, and first disappointments. Now I'm almost 38, I'm married, my father passed away, I've left my country more than once, and so much more. It seems like nothing else could possibly happen, but that's where I'm wrong.
I can't deny it, sometimes my new way of thinking scares me, because I seem to be becoming less tolerant of some things, but at the same time more flexible with others that I couldn't even imagine before. Just today I couldn't write about anything else, much less not share this song. I'm not so mean as to only show my video, though; I've included the original version below 🤣 It's a song that seems superficial, but it has a great message, and what I love most is that it's a happy and hopeful song. Beyond the changes we're going through, we should always accept what God sends us with optimism and maturity. If we are with Him, we will lack nothing 🙏

Hay cambios que más bien son una transformación, una transformación completa de mente, alma, cuerpo, todo... Creo que justo ahora me encuentro en una nueva metamorfosis, algo que no busqué, algo que está llegando solo, y lo mejor, algo que me gusta... Siempre me emociono cuando sigo redescubriéndome, y es ahí donde aparece esta canción que conocí por medio de Julieta Venegas, la que pueden apreciar en el video de arriba.
Esta es una de mis canciones favoritas, yo tenía años cuando salió, justo en una edad y en una época donde atravesé mis primeros cambios hacia lo que sería la vida adulta en el futuro. Primeros amores, primeros temores y primeras decepciones. Ahora tengo casi 38 años, estoy casado, murió mi papá, he salido de mi país en más de una ocasión y muchas cosas más. Pareciera que ya no puede llegar nada más, pero es ahí donde me equivoco.
No puedo negarlo, a veces me asusta mi nueva manera de pensar, porque cada vez parece ser menos tolerante con algunos temas, pero al mismo tiempo más flexible con otros que antes ni podía imaginar. Justo hoy no podía escribir sobre otra cosa, y mucho menos podía dejar de compartir esta canción. Tampoco soy tan malo como para solo mostrar mi video, aquí abajo les dejo la versión original 🤣 Es una canción que parece superficial, pero que lleva un gran trasfondo, y lo que más amo es que sea una canción feliz y esperanzadora, más allá de los cambios que estemos atravesando, siempre hay que asumir lo que Dios nos envía con optimismo y madurez. Si estamos con él nada nos faltará 🙏
