Saturday Unstructured and Sunday Organised | Weekend-Engagement 181

I send a very warm greeting to Galenkp and all the friends of the Weekend Experiences community. I haven't posted here for a while, and lately we've been repeating the concert or I've just been stuck at home watching TV with my mum on Saturdays and Sundays, but today is different, in fact it's the first time I can participate in one of the Weekend-Engagement themes, and I've chosen Organised or Unstructured...

To answer the main question, it turns out that my weekend is both organised and unstructured, and I think they usually are. Yesterday, Saturday, was a very special day for Jhoxiris and me. It was the first day off from music that I've stayed in Caracas. I usually go to visit my mum, but she did have a concert in Maracay, so without any kind of plan we went out, we didn't really know what we were going to do, but we didn't want to stay at home.

On the street we realised that we left without lunch, as we had had a very late breakfast, so lunch was almost at 4 pm in a restaurant that was not so far from home. We left on foot and that's how we got there, it was weird for the people working in the car park, but it wasn't planned. Then we got to a shopping centre and thought we could buy some things, since there were supposedly Black Friday discounts, but in Venezuela that is a scam, here they raise the prices a lot and then say that they are on sale. They don't cheat me, I always visit this shopping centre. So to avoid the queues and so many people I preferred to leave empty handed and later in the week I'll go and buy what I need, I'm sure it will be at the same price as always 😒

My girl Jhoxiris had told me that she really wanted to see part of Christmas at night in some of the squares in the centre of Caracas. I wasn't hungry and I didn't weigh much, so it seemed like a good idea, so we continued on foot, but it was already dark, almost 10 pm. Almost all the photos in this post are from the last hours of Saturday, before midnight when we returned home. The truth is that we found more than we expected in the nearby squares, seeing Christmas at night is a different experience.

I have always been a very organised person, to the point of being unhealthy, and many times I plan even the weekends, but yesterday I experienced a lot of nice things in this random outing, I was even separated from Hive until this morning, and that's hard. The colonial quarter was beautiful, it was our favourite place and if it wasn't for Saturday's destructuring I would have missed this nice experience with her, in fact she had been telling me for days to go out in the evening, and well, this outing started in the day and went until midnight.

But Sunday has come, I can't live La Vida Loca any more 😅 In a couple of hours I will have a concert and we had to get up early to get everything ready. I usually get up early and go to bed early on the weekends, just like every day, but today I was sleepy because I got in so late last night hehehehe. Today is the other half of the weekend, and I'm living it in the most organised way I know how so that everything goes well.

Today we must not only be organised for ourselves, but also for our group, which requires 100% of our best to have a successful concert. We'll see if in the end some of us get together to stir up the few remaining hours of the weekend among friends. We have already done sound check, and we are already dressed, I take advantage of the free time to enter Hive, because in a while we will receive today's guest group and we will rehearse the common singing together with them. Today the Orfeón Universitario de la Universidad Central de Venezuela will sing here in our concert hall. In my opinion they don't sound better than us 🤣 but that group is celebrating 80 years since it was formed and is the oldest choir in Venezuela. They have just arrived from an international tour and it will be interesting to share the stage with the current members.

In conclusion and in retrospect, I think my weekends are as organised as the rest of my week, but I hardly ever allow myself to get messy, but what happened yesterday was wonderful and I feel great to face today's commitments. My connection with Jhoxiris is powerful at the moment, and although she will go to her Soprano zone and I will go to my tenor zone I know that we are fine, happy, de-stressed and rested from breaking the structure of the everyday. I don't have any more pictures of today, but I don't want to say goodbye without sharing one of my usual music videos of the choir, so I will leave you this one from our Youtube channel, it is very old, but it is one of the songs we are going to sing today... Happy start of the week to everyone!...

First of all great colourful pictures of Saturday, great, I love them and secondly I know you have the concerts so it must be the structured weekend. That out of the schedule is not bad once in a while, it brightens up life. Thanks Jesus!!!😀

Greetings friend, on weekends you always do things as the hours go by and when you realize you can do several things without much planning, plus a very nice exit and many parts are placing Christmas. I laughed about the Balck Frady, I agree, here it does not work, what they do is raise prices, they put the offer and when you realize it is the same. Success and I hope everything went great in that great concert, Greetings and a pleasure to know that weekend @jesuslnrs
