Another Weekend with Beethoven
Definitely, despite the serious faces of all the paintings I know of the composer Beethoven, what this great man really transmits is joy and wonder through his music; and it has been demonstrated once again in the ninth symphony that we had the pleasure to perform just this weekend that is ending (I am literally coming from the concert straight to the PC to share this experience with you)...
It was a very special and important performance, as we sang to the representatives of the European Union in Venezuela, where Spain was celebrating its new presidency, so our audience are people who appreciate very much the lyrics and music of this symphony, as the first musical fragment that you can see in the video above has been consolidated as the anthem of this union of countries.
These four artists that you can see in the photo above are Venezuelan export talent. The two girls were members of our choir, but now the soprano is shining in Germany and the Mezzo-Soprano has even participated in the soundtrack of the movie of the Steven Universe series. The tenor has also performed outside Venezuela and is still a member of the Simon Bolivar Chorale, and the baritone is an Andean who is usually a guest at our musical events.
I just finished moving house, which took two months of my life, so it is special for me to start this second part of the year singing Beethoven's ninth symphony, considered the Hymn of Joy. It is impossible not to be moved by this music, everything that is sung there are beautiful phrases and statements of good vibes, even though it is in German, a rather complex language for me, I always sing and understand with pleasure the message that we transmit. The last two times we did this symphony my girl @jhoxiris was the soprano soloist, this time she shared with me in the choir and she tells me that you feel the same joy being in front or behind the orchestra, in fact, this music transmits the same beautiful feeling even if we are among the spectators in the theater seats.
This important concert for us was conducted by Adrián Ascanio, nephew of Maestro José Antonio Abreu and who is taking care of continuing the beautiful legacy of passion for music in Venezuela. I am a tenor in the Simón Bolívar National Choir, but I cheated and sang in the baritone row; that's how I learned it and it is the musical line I enjoy singing the most. The fabulous orchestra that accompanied us was the Simón Bolívar Symphony, who will be performing this same work in August in Scotland; I don't want to brag about our talent, but all together we sound spectacular, I particularly love to see the faces of amazement in the audience when we sing and play the most famous fragments of this symphony, it really is synonymous of joy for the people.
Before I say goodbye, I would like to ask all those who read me, especially those who do not know Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, that if one day they hear that it will be presented in their city, they should not miss it. I believe that everyone in the world should enjoy this work of classical music at least once in life, and my advice is to enjoy it live and feel the vibration of each instrument and each voice on the stage. This concert took place the night of Saturday July 1st at the Simon Bolivar Hall of the National Center of Social Action for Music in the city of Caracas. I edited the video in ShotCut with fragments of the presentation that our mothers in the audience have recorded and shared with us, the members of the group. All the pictures were taken with my Tecno Pova II, I embrace you all, and happy beginning of the week!...

I think "magnificent" would be the adjective I want to use for what could be appreciated in these excerpts of the presentation.
As always, the choir and the whole system left the name of Venezuela high. Here there is talent worthy of export.
Congratulations! 👏👏👏
Rosana, thank you very much for your support. I feel the same way about this work, and we really always interpret it from the heart. Thank you for your visit friend. I don't know if you have ever seen it live, I will be waiting for when it is performed in Maracay to let you know...
You're one of those that's building my interest in orchestra and I'd really love to stand amidst a great choir like yours with my heads up high and feeling good just like your feeling right now 😁.
You're doing a great job already. Weldone sir 👍
You have an incredible soprano voice my friend, I feel you have great possibilities to sing at a high level with a professional group. I wish you the best in your life. Whatever you choose to do, do it with a lot of passion and the rest will come by itself. For me music is the answer to all questions and I really live doing what I love, I wish that for others...
This is really impressive. The emotion I feel just watching the video is such that I can't imagine what it would be like to feel it live and I hope at some point to have the opportunity to do it.
The orchestra always demonstrating how much talent there is in our country. Thank you for sharing this fragment with all of us my dear brother.
Thank you friend for watching my video. As I say, the ninth symphony is something everyone should experience hearing it live. I sang it many times in our city, I imagine that many more will come and that you can have that opportunity. I love our sound, I feel that it has been one of the best versions we have ever performed...

Someday we will have the honor of witnessing Beethoven's Ninth Symphony live, it is from our point of view a very iconic worldwide and conveys many emotions, it conveys greatness.
This is undoubtedly a great experience in your weekend, few things can beat this. Spectacular!
It is wonderful, but I insist that the real experience is live, especially if the musicians are virtuosos. It is considered the hymn of joy and the main poem is used as the anthem of the European Union. For me it is amazing how music that was written so many centuries ago can be so current and transmitting the same positive energy. Thank you for visiting my post dear brothers...

(no space) to get help on Hive. InfoDear, thanks to you for taking the time to visit the post and play the video. I knew many would like it because this is what the fourth movement of eta symphony conveys, musical strength and love. An ode to joy...
My brother, every time I see you more cheerful, more animated, well, you are in your element which is music and how not to feel cheerful, if you have precisely intoned the Hymn of Joy by the famous Ludwig van Beethoven, besides the fact that you interpreted it in front of a luxury audience. My most sincere congratulations to you, and to all this group of artists with export quality. My respects and keep on going so that you continue to fill the soul with joy.
Yes brother. It was a great crowd and they really enjoyed the event. It's one of my favorite works for everything it represents and it's a lot of fun to sing in German, I feel that with each show I learn to pronounce certain words more. Thanks for this comment...
Jeje no te preocupes
Ya nos veremos con más frecuencia
Superrr
Ojalá Beethoven estuviese vivo para escuchar tus palabras
😅🤭
