How not to be happy and in love with life? It is true that I have received many kicks from fate lately and situations brought me to the brink of collapse; but there is one constant in my life, one person who was in charge of making sure I did not cross that edge into the abyss, and in retrospect, while I had to save my wings to take care of my dad's flight, she and my wonderful job were patiently waiting for me to continue being happy after the chaos.

¿Cómo no ser feliz y estar enamorado de la vida? Es cierto que he recibido muchas patadas del destino últimamente y las situaciones me llevaron al borde del colapso; pero hay una constante en mi vida, una persona que fue la encargada de que yo no cruzara ese borde hacia el abismo, y en retrospectiva, mientras tuve que guardar mis alas para cuidar el vuelo de mi papá, ella y mi maravilloso trabajo me estuvieron esperando con paciencia para seguir siendo feliz luego del caos.

This week is very important for my musical institution. On Monday began the international congress for which we have prepared so much. It sounds like a lot of work and it really is, and being surrounded by so many people all day long tends to drive me a little crazy hehe, especially yesterday when we were in a rehearsal accompanied only by piano and percussionists in a room where even the whispers resound, because in every corner the acoustics are excellent. In those moments I just have to look for my peace to continue, because it is only the first day of the week, and I find that peace in the line of the sopranos of the choir.

Esta semana es muy importante para mi institución musical. El lunes comenzó el congreso internacional para el que tanto nos hemos preparado. Suena a mucho trabajo y realmente lo es, y estar rodeado de tantas personas y durante todo el día suele enloquecerme un poco jeje, sobretodo ayer que estábamos en un ensayo acompañado solo de piano y percusionistas en una sala donde hasta los susurros resuenan, ya que en cada rincón la acústica es excelente. En esos momentos solo debo buscar mi paz para continuar, porque a penas es el primer día de la semana, y esa paz la encuentro en la fila de las sopranos de la coral.

The only person who makes me do crazy things like escaping for a while to eat ice cream in the middle of the workday 🤣 And at the same time she is my boss, if someone asked about me she could only say that I was helping her in some task; but the reality is that among so many people, etiquette and music, what makes us happier are the moments where we can get together and escape from what is happening around us. The only way to survive this week is to consider it a honeymoon at work, few people can say this, loving your job and sharing it with your soul mate is not something that happens often, so I have more reasons to be happy.

La única persona que me hace hacer locuras como escapar un rato a comer helados en medio de la jornada laboral 🤣 Y al mismo tiempo es mi jefa, si alguien preguntara por mí solo podría decir que le estuve ayudando en alguna tarea; pero la realidad es que entre tanta gente, etiqueta y música, lo que nos hace más felices son los ratos donde podemos juntarnos y escapar de lo que pasa a nuestro al rededor. La única manera de sobrevivir a esta semana es considerarla una luna de miel en el trabajo, pocas personas pueden decir esto, amar tu trabajo y compartirlo con tu alma gemela no es algo que pase a menudo, por eso tengo mayores motivos para ser feliz.
