In this video I am the third in the second row, from right to left, and it is a Salve Regina by the Venezuelan Cesar Alejandro Carrillo that we recorded eight years ago with my previous musical group, when I was still in a youth initiation choir. Beyond the musical background, I also wanted to share with you a little of the sound that is achieved in this room, which is completely surrounded by wood for better resonance.

En ese video soy el tercero de la segunda fila, de derecha a izquierda, y es un Salve Regina del Venezolano Cesar Alejandro Carrillo que grabamos hace ocho años con mi agrupación musical anterior, cuando todavía me encontraba en un coro de iniciación juvenil. Más allá del fondo musical les quería compartir también un poco del sonido que se logra en esta sala que está totalmente rodeada de madera para una mejor resonancia.

The hall has multiple entrances, but I think wherever you go, the first thing you would always notice is the small organ in the center. I've never seen anyone playing it, but it's the closest I've ever been to one of these musical instruments, as they are always very inaccessible to the public. In this case, the hall has become one of my most everyday rehearsal places, and believe me I am always impressed with its beauty since 13 years ago when I first entered.

La sala tiene múltiples entradas, pero creo que pases por donde pases, lo primero que siempre notarías es el pequeño órgano en el centro. Nunca he visto a nadie tocándolo, pero es lo más cerca que he estado de un instrumento musical de estos, ya que siempre son muy inaccesibles al público. En este caso, la sala se ha convertido en uno de mis lugares de ensayos más cotidianos, y créanme que siempre me impresiono con su belleza desde hace 13 años que entré por primera vez.

You can see in these three photographs above two very important characteristics. The first one is that it is very difficult to take good pictures; people or bags always come out because they take great care of the facilities and never let people in unless we have a rehearsal or concert. The second thing is that there is a difference in the chairs downstairs that fold and the chairs upstairs, and they are separated by metal bars (you can see it better in the last photo). The upstairs is wood and the downstairs is also wood, but painted black. This is because all the lower part of the seats are stored under the chairs above, like a drawer. This further expands the use of the floorboard in the room.

Pueden observar en estas tres fotografías de arriba dos características muy importantes. La primera de ella es que es muy difícil tomar fotografías buenas; siempre salen personas o bolsos porque cuidan mucho las instalaciones y nunca dejan pasar a menos que tengamos ensayo o concierto. Lo segundo es que hay una diferencia en las sillas de abajo que se doblan y las sillas de arriba, y están separadas por barras de metal (se aprecia mejor en la última foto). El piso arriba es de madera y el de abajo también, pero pintada en color negro. Esto se debe a que toda la parte de abajo de las butacas se guardan debajo de las sillas de arriba, como una gaveta. De esta manera se expande más el uso de la tarima en la sala.

Places like this have always made me feel professional and that I enjoy the best music stages in my country. I don't show you the facade of the hall because it doesn't really have one, it is simply the second largest and most elegant of our Caracas venue. As you can see in these three photos above, the hall also has two rows of seats on the left side and behind and above the organ, it is almost a 360° spectator hall. When I first saw it, it was the only thing I did not like in the design, I thought that the seats should always be in front of the artist and never behind, and although I maintain my idea, today it does not bother me and I know that worldwide there are many concert halls with seats in every corner.

Lugares como este siempre me ha hecho sentir profesional y que disfruto de los mejores escenarios de la música en mi país. No les muestro la fachada de la sala porque realmente no la tiene, simplemente es la segunda más grande y elegante de nuestra sede en Caracas. Como pueden observar en estas tres fotos de arriba, la sala también tiene dos hileras de butaca en el lateral izquierdo y detrás y arriba del órgano, casi es una sala de espectadores de 360°. Cuando la conocí fue lo único que no me gustó en diseño, pensé que las butacas siempre deben estar frente al artista y nunca detrás, y aunque mantengo mi idea, hoy en día no me molesta y sé que a nivel mundial hay muchas salas de conciertos con butacas en cada esquina.

As you can appreciate, the lights and the design of the hall do not envy at all to those of the great theaters of Caracas. In this small space great musical moments take place, not only for choral music and popular or symphonic orchestras, but also for instrument recitals, songs, musicals and even operas. All these pictures were taken with my Tecno Pova II, I have several days trying to take the best ones to show them to you.

Como pueden apreciar, las luces y el diseño de la sala no envidia para nada a los de los grandes teatros de Caracas. En este pequeño espacio se llevan a cabo grandes momentos musicales, no solo de música coral y orquestas populares o sinfónicas, sino para recitales de instrumento, cantos, musicales y hasta óperas. Todas estas fotos las tomé con mi Tecno Pova II, tengo varios días tratando de tomar las mejores para mostrárselas a ustedes.

I say goodbye by sharing a video that I swore I would never show, since it gives away that I don't know how to dance and I felt very sorry that day. Just look at the singer who moves funny and you will see me. I still wanted to show you all the space you get when you keep the chairs under the seats upstairs, just like a big trunk. This has always seemed strange to me, it looks like we are making music inside a corral when it is done this way, but it is still a wonderful experience for the spectator.

Me despido compartiendo un video que juré nunca mostrar, ya que delata que no sé bailar y me sentí muy apenado ese día. Solo tienen que fijarse en el cantante que se mueve raro y me ubicarán. Aún así quería mostrarles todo el espacio que se logra cuando guardan las sillas debajo de las butacas de arriba, tal cual como una gran gavetero. Igual esto siempre me ha parecido raro, pareciera que estuviéramos haciendo música dentro de un corral cuando se hace de esta manera, pero no deja de ser una experiencia maravillosa para el espectador.
