Hello friends of the hive Music Zone community, my name is @jesus-son and I specially welcome you to my blog this day on this occasion of the Jamming Zone week 15. Thanks to the moderators and the members who have continued to make this initiative keep moving ahead. I am sorry for the times I have missed, it's really very tough for me now because of academic works but I hope to finish my exams soon and be here comfortably.

In this post I present a jam on the key of A. This is also a typical of fela style of music. I had heard something of this nature from a friend who was teaching me then on how to combine the left hand and the right hand to play the piano. It's just so funny that after he taught me I took it very serious and played more than him, hehe. Well, I guess he didn't think he needed to do more practice and felt relaxed with how much he knew but of course I didn't just look at his style alone to play, I learnt from him and other people too.

This presentation is for me a piece for relaxation. It's just a very simple progression around two minor chords. Reh- minor and mi- minor chords. I so much love the sound of these two chords, even when I sing, I love to use them in between or even interchangeably with the major chords because they give a very unique sound and most especially the reh minor which is a combination of reh fah and lah. What a beauty and melody to enjoy.

The left side is a killer, hehe. It is a formulation that may sound off from the progression of the right hand but it is never. In fact it is so apt and a very good accompaniment.

I am glad to bring this to you friends. I hope that you enjoy with me. Thank you. I will leave you another video of fela to enjoy too.

If only I was more serious about learning piano, I would have been playing well by now. 😭😭
Good one.

I love how your hands were running on the piano and you did great. They say practice makes perfect and just like the one who taught you and does not think of practicing more. This is one problem of some people who feel they are better and do not need to keep practicing until someone overtakes them and know it more better. Keep practicing.
