In this post, I wish to reflect on a very important theme on which hinges the song which I present. It is on the role of Christ's sacrifice on the cross. That is, the death of Christ for humanity.

First of all, the death of Christ on the cross is an act of love. Thus, let us look at that word love. It is a word that is so much encompassing but is the most unrealistic word in the life of people. It is very easy to say but most times lacking in the actions of those who profess it. Thus making it unrealistic.

But Christ, by His death on the cross showed us how to love. It is a love that is unconditional. A love that does not seek for a personal good but for the good of the other person. A love that is not selfish.

In the world today, it is very difficult to find such love that does not seek self gratification. This is why families are breaking away. Relationships don't last any longer because what attracted the parties to each other at a time began to be lacking in the individuals.

In real sense actually, something must actually spur a person to love another but when that thing remains the object of the love then it is a wrong way of loving. With time, it has to change to loving the person because of who he or she is such that one can cope with the odds also.

This song I present tells of the mission of Christ on earth and how it was fulfilled. It is titled Lord i lift your name on high. It begins by narrating how Jesus descended on earth through His birth by the Blessed Virgin and then His suffering on the cross and consequent ascension into heaven from where He shall return to judge the world.

Dear friemds, this is a song that is very old but which has a very deep meaning for meditation..it allows us to meditate on our lives as Christians and give thanks to God for such great love lavished upon us.

En este post deseo reflexionar sobre un tema muy importante del que gira la canción que presento. Se trata del papel del sacrificio de Cristo en la cruz. Es decir, la muerte de Cristo por la humanidad.

Ante todo, la muerte de Cristo en la cruz es un acto de amor. Por tanto, miremos esa palabra amor. Es una palabra que abarca mucho pero que es la más irreal en la vida de las personas. Es muy fácil de decir pero la mayoría de veces falta en las acciones de quienes lo profesan. Por lo tanto, es poco realista.

Pero Cristo, con su muerte en la cruz, nos mostró cómo amar. Es un amor que es incondicional. Un amor que no busca un bien personal sino el bien de la otra persona. Un amor que no sea egoísta.

En el mundo actual es muy difícil encontrar un amor que no busque la autogratificación. Por eso las familias se están separando. Las relaciones no duran más porque lo que atraía a las partes en un momento empezó a faltar en los individuos.

En realidad, en el sentido real, algo debe estimular a una persona a amar a otra, pero cuando esa cosa sigue siendo el objeto del amor, entonces es una forma incorrecta de amar. Con el tiempo, tiene que pasar a amar a la persona por quién es, de modo que uno también pueda hacer frente a las adversidades.

Esta canción que presento habla de la misión de Cristo en la tierra y cómo se cumplió. Se titula Señor, levanto tu nombre en alto. Comienza narrando cómo Jesús descendió a la tierra a través de Su nacimiento por la Santísima Virgen y luego Su sufrimiento en la cruz y consecuente ascensión al cielo de donde regresará para juzgar al mundo.

Queridos amigos, esta es una canción muy antigua pero que tiene un significado muy profundo para la meditación... nos permite meditar sobre nuestra vida como cristianos y dar gracias a Dios por tan grande amor que nos ha prodigado.
