Hello hive Jamming Zone, my name is @jesus-son and here I bring you a jam for the week 4 of our weekly events. I am glad for how much I am seeing this initiative yielding. God bless #musiczone and God bless us all.

In this post, I made a melody with my guitar and my piano. It's a brutal music, hehe and I hope that you will like it. Right from when I started playing the musical instruments, I have loved the songs of one Nigerian Legend in Afro-beat called Fela Kuti. He died a long time ago but his songs live on in the minds and hearts of many Nigerians and even non Nigerians.

In fact, these days people come up to imitate his style of music but of course there has not been a match, that guy was a guru in music. His melodies are a combination of professionalism in music. He is the master of the use of the pentatonic scales which I love so much to do solos.

In the church these and I mean even in Catholic Churches, many of the liturgical songs are improvisingly sung like Fela's music. The truth is that it doesn't sound liturgical but it's very melodic. It is such that many a time people criticise the presentations saying that the choir is bringing secularism into the church. Well, for me, I don't see it that way. It's just a harmonic pattern. In as much as the words are Godly, for me it's fine. Anyways, maybe I am speaking like this because I love Fela's style, hehe.

The melody I present here is a typical style of Fela's harmony. Most times, Fela move his scales for a song within minors and it produces a baaaaad effect such that you enjoy it and wish it continues. I made this on the key of A flat. The progression moves around reh and mi, hehe. Can you imagine the stuff, hehe. But its lovely dears.

Enough of the long exegesis, hehe, let me allow you to enjoy the stuffs. I enjoyed myself making this guys and I hope that you too enjoy with me. Thanks for your support.

You surprised me this time... I wasn't expecting that guitar and I appreciate you taking the time to create this video which I imagine was not easy. How cool, someday I'd like to have your skill to play something similar.
