Hive Afri-tunes Week #53 || A Cover of 'Jesus for me' @jesus-son
Hi Afritunes Week #53, my name is @jesus-son and I come here with my presentation for the weekly challenge.
Lately I have been doing a lot of thinking about life in general and in particularity, the essence of serving God. I tried to probe the events of my life to arrive at the time I achieved a thing by my power and those that seem to be miraculous.
I itemised them into serious situations and non serious ones. I was almost concluding that the serious ones are the ones that probably were the handwork of God while the ordinary ones were mere coincidence or perhaps things I achieved by my efforts.
But then I looked at the lives of many others around me and I don't see these ordinary things in them, then I thought perhaps they have not been making too much efforts. But then the guys in the market pushing wheel barrow surely make a lot of efforts and yet they have little or even sometime nothing to fall on when situations arise. It is at this point in time that I came to the conclusion that Jesus is all things for me indeed.
It is in the spirit of this reflection that I bring this song to you. It is a cover of the Christian hymn titled 'Jesus for me'. I grew up in the Catholic Church listening to this song most times during the dismal of the mass and I love it like mad.
The song 'Jesus for me ' is a song that attributes to Jesus all powers to deal with life situations. Jesus is all things to us in times of sorrows, wants, sickness and pains,joys and happiness. All the time and everywhere Jesus is all thing for me.
This is a beautiful song for anyone in both ugly and peaceful condition. It is one that acknowledges Jesus as the all and all in one's life. It is a song of total surrender to Jesus. We need to sing it from time to time to appreciate our God and to keep us in constant awareness of God being the master of events in our lives.
Doing this cover, I played my piano while I sang along. I hope you enjoy with me as I really enjoyed singing and playing. Pardon me for any irregularity, we still dey learn, hehe.

You know I find this act of splitting the keyboard to be for professional keyboardists, playing the bass line this well and still managing to follow up those chords appropriately is no doubt a work of intelligence and consistent practise. You are doing very well @jesus-son, I have also come to find out that every little thing that happens in our Life God is aware of it and so my achievements no matter how big or small I am confident about the fact that God is behind the story..
