Hello Hive Afri-tunes week #55 my name is @jesus-son and in this video I bring you my participation in the weekly contest of this community. I hope you derive some meaning in my entry and enjoy.
The song that I got inspired to do is Yeshua by Nathaniel Bassey. It is a simple song that has power to arouse the spirit of worship. The first time I heard this song was from a visitor who came around my house and she was always playing the song for the three days she was around.
I didn't want to make myself look like I don't know the things invoke so I didn't ask her who the author was or the title, haha (no go talk say I dey proud o 😅). I just went to Google and typed yeshua as I heard it being repeated in the audio and it popped up as Nathaniel Bassey's song. I downloaded it and played it secretly till she left, hehe.
Like I said earlier, it is a song that has the power to arouse the feeling of worship. It does not have many words in its lyrics but the few are touching and the rhythm is amazing.
Whenever I played it I am pushed to acknowledge the might of God. Therefore I play this song each time I am spiritually down. I revives my soul and place me in that realm. You see why I said it is a powerful song.
It is with this song that I came to realise that the quality of a song is not in a bulk of words in its lyrics but the weight of the words no matter how few and the melody it bears.
Yeshua means Jesus in Hebrew and Hamashiach means Messiah. Thus the song is one of praise to Jesus the Messiah who came to save mankind from sin. The one who has continued used to save us from every troubles that could have crushed us.
