Hello, Hivers in the Hive Music Community. I trust that this post finds you well.

The day has been bright and beautiful here. How has it been for you over there?

Great, I suppose.

On Sunday last week, it was Youth Day at my church, and we all had an awesome time.

Prior to the program, I rehearsed a song I planned to sing during the youth program. The title of the song is Fix my Eye by Ada Ehi Ft Sinach. Earphones Recommended.

During my rehearsal, I encountered a little challenge somewhere in the song but hoped to be able to overcome it before I got on stage.

However, I still made the mistake when I got on stage, and it led to me losing my motivation to continue singing. While I did not wait until the instrumental was over before ending the song, I did continue and end it as I deemed appropriate.

The lady who recorded my performance did not place the phone in landscape position, probably because I did not instruct her to do so.

Despite the position of the video, the sound wasn't so bad. I had thought that it would be distorted but it wasn't.

when I made the mistake with my singing, at some point, I felt like I let my audience down, but they all cheered for me after I was done, with an ovation.

Another thing about the video is that she did not record it to the point where I stopped singing; if she had recorded it, you all would have seen my mistake.

Have you ever performed on stage with an instrumental playing but ended up missing it and singing faster than the instrumental? How did you handle such a situation?

I feel that I probably wouldn't have made the mistake I made if I had had more rehearsal time before the performance. I only had one day to prepare for the performance, and it affected my performance. I should have taken the time to practice more and to rehearse my lines.

The lesson has been learned, and I hope to do better in the future.

What happened which cause you to feel down? Was those instruments which were being played by people?
