I welcome you all to this week's Hive Open Mic live musical performance. It is an honor for me to be chosen as the community's recent spotlight and I appreciate it. Thank you @hiveopenmic

As the theme for this week, I have chosen 'Light of the World' for every artist and music lover to explore. I was blown away by @stickupboys performance during last week's live performance and I would love to see what they do this week. The same applies to other amazing artists in the community.

This theme speaks to the idea that Jesus is the source of true light and that if someone follows Him, they will never be in the dark about anything. It conveys the idea that when we seek Jesus and His teachings, He will provide the guidance we need in life.

Jesus is referred to as the "light of the world" in the Bible. He came to bring truth, hope, and salvation to all who believe in Him.

He offers us a way to live life with purpose and to be in a relationship with God. Jesus' light brings life and hope to those who accept Him. Those who accept Jesus as the light of the world will have the promise of eternal life. They will never walk in darkness.

As we look at the world today, we see that darkness has covered the earth, describing the suffering and the destruction that has taken place.

The promise of Jesus is that his followers will never experience the darkness of this world, but will instead experience the light of life. This means that they will be filled with God's peace and joy, and will be filled with the hope of eternity in heaven.

The king is coming again, and he will bring a new kingdom where there will be no more sorrow or pain, but only joy and peace.

This new kingdom will be the manifestation of God's loving promises and a place where everyone can experience true and lasting joy and peace.

Should everyone be expecting the light of the world? Yes, the Bible tells us that the Messiah, who is the king of this new kingdom, will come to save the world from sin and destruction.

His rule will bring true justice and peace and those who accept his reign will be able to experience true joy and peace.

His light is a beacon of hope, leading us out of darkness and into a life of joy, peace, and love in the presence of God.

He will free us from the bondage of sin and offer us a life of true freedom. He will bring an end to suffering and injustice and will make a way for us to know and experience God’s love and grace.

He will make all things new and provide us with the eternal hope that will never fail.

In summary, I urge us all to be the light of the world in the life of everyone around us. Regardless of the happenings in the world today, let's focus on the positive sides and keep making our light shine.
