I wish everyone in the Hive Open Mic Community a wonderful holiday season. In a few days, it will be over, and we'll return to our usual busy schedules, so enjoy this holiday while you can, dear members.

It has been a while since I participated in the Hive Open Mic musical event. After seeing the theme for this week, I thought to myself that I shouldn't miss participating. I especially love the theme 'END OF DECEMBER'. It signifies that we are wrapping up for the year, and we are not just wrapping up but wrapping up well.

I have watched a few entries already, and those entries motivated me to submit my entry too before it ends. Today is the last day for valid submissions, so I thought I shouldn't miss it.

Let's talk about my video.

My video was recorded in my church during one of my carol solo presentations. As I thought about what to sing for Hive Open Mic, the idea came to my mind that I could sing that same song.

However, I chose to do something different. In place of uploading the raw audio with the video, I decided to record a different audio and edit it to sync with it.

I convinced myself to use the video because of the beautiful Christmas decorations in the background. I want to look back and have this Christmas and end-of-the-year feel whenever I come back to watch that video.

I have been having problems with my earbuds for months now. One ear is completely damaged, and I only have the left ear. I haven't changed them yet, since I'm still saving up for a good one hehe I like quality things and good things are expensive.

However, while the new earphones pend, I think it is affecting my audio quality because I cannot listen to myself clearly. I hope to get that fixed as soon as I can.

Let's talk about the song.

The song 'What Child Is This' is similar in title to the one I presented for the Afri-Christmas event, but that was the Medly version by Yolanda Adams. This song was performed by Casting Crowns as a solo.
