New Promo Videos Are Required For Vibes!
Greetings to the Vibes Web3 Music Competition Community!
By now, most people who created their first promo videos in the first week of October for Vibes when this rule was introduced in Week 21, would now see that their old promo video is now already over a month old.
This means you all are automatically now required to create a new promo video, as videos expire after one month.
The reason for the Vibes promo videos is to
- spread the word about Vibes
- expand the contest to interest and onboard other new users outside the blockchain.
- This is why we've been encouraged to publish the promo videos on Web 2 platforms like Instagram, Twitter aka X, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and More.
- By doing so, we help the community grow
- the rewards will increase in the future as well when the participant number increases consistently
- Additionally, investors will see reasons to continue supporting the community.
The aim is to ensure that the number of entries per week reaches at least back to 250-300 people.
Our highest number of entries was a record 553 entries in one single Vibes Week!
However, if the number of participants or entries in a week drops, supporters may think the community isn't doing well, which would mean the rewards would be reduced and more. Let us prove them wrong and expand our community of Both active users who are supporters and listeners who comment on the entries, as well as, the actual talented musicians and performers who perform live for us on a weekly basis.
When creating the new video, please include the hashtag #VibesPromoVid for easy discovery on any of the well known worldwide Web2 Social Media Platforms mentioned above
Another reason for the #VibesPromoVid hashtag is to make finding the winners of who promoted to the most people easier. Last time, judges had to scroll through numerous videos, which was time-consuming. With the hashtag, it's now easier to search for entries on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or Twitter (X). Simply click on the #VibesPromoVid hashtag and all the promo videos will be readily available, streamlining the process of selecting winners for the Promo Videos, the winners are those who had the most views and most people reached with high engagement regarding the promotion of Vibes
Note: Failure to use the hashtag won't result in penalties or points lost. It is just a consideration to help the judges find your Promo Video so you won’t be missed!
The purpose of this post is to remind every participant whose previous promo video is already a month old to create a new promo video and add the link to their entries for Week 24.
Please include the link to your promo video in every post to avoid receiving reminder messages stating that no promo video link is included.
To clarify, you must:
- Create a new promo video once the previous one is a month old.
- Add the link to your promo video in every entry post along with you actual video live performance entry
- Continue adding the link until the new video is a month old. And repeat the process.

November
A new promo video wouldn’t be required until the beginning of December
