Hey everyone!

It's Vibes Web3 Music Competition Week 11, and I'm covering 'No Tears Left To Cry' and it's going to be Miley Cyrus's version.

I have listened to the original version a lot of times and the song is just one I can't get tired of.

I was scrolling down YouTube one afternoon, keeping myself busy, or, let me say, entertaining myself with interesting shorts on Youtube, and that was when I saw Miley singing 'No Tear Left To Cry'.

I'm not going to say that Ariana's original version is better that Miley's or that Miley's cover is better than the original.
In my opinion, they are both unique, melodious and interesting to listen to. However, there's something about Miley's cover; maybe it's because I like her, she's an amazing artist or maybe not.

I just know she added a very nice touch to it, I could feel the emotion in the song.

This cover of "No Tears Left to Cry" that Miley performed wasn't recorded in a studio, rather it was a live performance. According to my research, she sang it during her appearance on BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge in 2018.

I also learned that the Live Lounge is a segment where artists perform their own songs and a cover of another artist's song, isn't that amazing?

You will agree with me that Miley Cyrus's cover of the song was a soulful, acoustic rendition that showcased her unique vocal style. I love Miley's deep voice.

I decided to add that song to the list of songs I want to score after listening to Miley.

In addition to that, seeing that the Vibes Web3 Music community didn't present a theme for this week, I thought that I should put my all into the cover and give it the best shot.

The challenge I faced while recording the song was the range. Not that it was exactly too high for me, but I drank cold water a few minutes before recording and it didn't do my vocal chords any good but I did my best anyway, and I hope you enjoy listening to it.

listening to you already tells me that you have a very nice taste for good music because all the choices and all the selections you make for your weekly presentation they are all very intriguing. I also commend you for the very meticulous audio Edition, it makes the presentation very captivating and interesting. Just a question of curiosity do you make a separate voice edition or do the mic record directly at the same time when you're making the video? Keep up the great work @jessicaossom
