The last message I received on WhatsApp before coming to write my post for my Afritunes cover was; 10 days to exam, how prepared are you?

The question is supposed to get students to get themselves ready for the exam. As for me, it feels like the more I study, the faster all I have studied disappears from my memory. It is well.

At first, I thought to heed @jesus-son's advice but, I decided not to, I can’t, and I will not , I shall not hahaha

I was actually struggling to come up with a song to sing but later decided to sing Ebezina. In the early morning of today, when I was getting ready for my bath, my elder sister visited me at home and started singing Ebezener. Immediately, I decided to make that my song choice for the week.

Already, I had checked the community's suggestions and saw that I wasn't familiar with the suggested songs.

This is why I chose to do the song Ebezina as my cover.

My sister and I always sang this song passionately when we were younger.

During that time, Android phones were not in high demand, most people used button phones, which was what I and my sister had.

We loved the song when we first listened to it and that prompted us to learn the lyrics which we did by listening to the words as the artist sang the song.

Thank God for technology; today we have Google to check lyrics. However, there are some songs that are not on Google, and to get the lyrics, one would have to listen closely to the artist, so, the style of writing lyrics is not outdated hehe.

I only managed to watch it yesterday but couldn't comment. Yesterday was a bad time as I have been sick and weak to even make a comment. I said I must do so today 😊

You did amazingly with the cover plus your sweet voice. Ebezina is an old song, yet it carries hope and encouragement.
