Music, river and fortuitous encounter at Uzlet fest in Cacak, Serbia

After a great evening behind me, I woke up singing the songs of Darko Rundek, my favorite music artist. I like to visit festivals, so I was very happy when the company I work for gave me free tickets to Uzlet fest in Cacak, a beautiful city in Central Serbia.

Uzlet is a music event within the Days of urban culture festival and the company I work for was a sponsor of the event. Through its socially responsible actions, it supports all events and activities that help us build the world exactly the way we want it to be.

Uzlet fest took place in a spacious park next to the West Morava river, in a cozy and pleasant atmosphere.

The lights were not too bright, so the atmosphere was quite intimate, without disturbing the birds and other wildlife in the area.

For those who had no place to sleep during the two-day festival, a camp was provided free of charge, within the park, next to the river in a beautiful natural environment.

There were several stands where you could buy interesting products and souvenirs. Drink prices were affordable and there was also fast food for those who wanted to eat something. For me, the music was enough to have a great time.

There were two stages, for fans of electro music and for fans of alternative rock. As I love alternative rock, that stage was my choice and I enjoyed the positive vibes of the great artists who performed while waiting for my favorite Darko Rundek. The air by the river was very pleasant, so we spent some time sitting on a bench on the path that led through the park, from one stage to the other.

While we were sitting and talking casually in the distance we saw a man walking down the path towards us. As he got closer, he looked like the singer Darko Rundek, whose performance we were waiting for. And then we saw, when he got really close, that it was actually him! I called him "Darko", and he turned to meet us. We told him that we were waiting for him. He thanked and said that he was also waiting for himself.😊 He was very kind and I was very happy because of that spontaneous encounter that happened. 😊

As time passed, more and more people approached the stage and it slowly started to get crowded.

And finally, Darko Rundek's performance began. From the first song to the last, great energy spread through the audience and the atmosphere was lively.

I enjoyed my favorite songs and felt very good, with the sounds of guitar, saxophone, trumpet and percussion. He sings in a unique and recognizable way and while listening to his songs, each one is like a movie in which you can easily find yourself or at least awaken your inspiration and enjoy it.

I went home with a smile and great impressions that are already a beautiful memory today.
